WINCH INSTALL INTO FACTORY BUMBER | 79 SERIES LANDCRUISER BUILD PART 6

With the bullbar we selected still a while away we had no choice but to fit the winch to the standard bumper. This is one car we really do like the look of without a bull bar and the winch now adds a little something special to the front end.

Would be good but need to consider compliance for the air bag and crash ratings(not that the 79 has much of a rating, but still.) ARB, TJM, Off Road Animal etc all have to go through engineering and get ADR approvals for all their bars, is quite an ordeal.

Safari are working on it, and I will grab one for sure. I won’t be doing an aftermarket airbox this time. Stay tuned.
