I found a warn 7275 but can find no information on it. Assuming it's 7000 #. Are there replacement parts?

A somewhat belated comment. You very briefly mention the extreme speed of one of the Warn upright winches (I did not know there were so many). The 8274 to this day has an unburdened line speed substantially greater than any other winch of any type. It is also the only winch that supports 150 feet of line (I have only found steel at this length). This may not mean much until you need to use a pulley, cutting your distance capacity in half. Very nice collection of historic Warn winches. The guys who knew more about them are long gone.

Have ever seen a Belleview with no stamping on the housing?

who sells the rebuild kits? also from what I understand the Belleview has a 1:136 ratio, and the 8274 has a 1:134 ratio(although somewhere someone mentioned 1:180). Interested to see the speed comparison, as im nearly done with the 9.5xp motor install on my belleview.

People call theme Bellevue because the company originated in Bellevue, WA. The weird part is that they changed it to Belleview in the first place.

I just got an old winch from my dad, never had one and dont know much about them. It says model 6000, from a little reading I think it's a belleveiw/warn 6000 from around the late 60's early 70's, Its complete on a big steel mounting base and has the warn fair lead rollers on there also. The brake parts are all there exept the cast arm is broke off, only a couple inches left of that arm. I plan on using this to mount on my 18ft trailer to winch cars up on it. I'm curious if this is maybe a saut after winch? I dont really want to be ghetto rigging up this thing if its something special. It works when connected to power.

Sounds like a Belleview based Warn 6000/8000. Brennans garage offers replacement brake arms. They’re neat on older vehicles, but not as sought after as the Warn M8274. Going rate for a 6000 in good shape (running, not broken ) seems to be $3-400. On a trailer you might not like that it is power in only. Brennan also offers a 2 way motor for those units. Good luck!

@@Arkstrikr Awesome, thanks for the advice 👍. Yea this one has the has the brass stamped numbers plate, the clutch arm works, only issue is that broken brake arm. I've been watching winch videos today😄, they have some nice new winches but these old ones look like a work of art to me. I can appreciate the old craftsmanship.

Hey Dude great content! Can you tell me where you can that Ramsey mount?
@jimmyd68198 ай бұрын
They are not insanely fast They look fast compared to a low mount but compared to a 4 motor 24v gigglepin or red winch with 38:1 gear ratio they are slow
