Oh cool. Our local Winchell’s was the skater hang-out back in high school. I miss that place. It’s now become a sushi house that still utilizes the spinning Winchell shaped sign.

Foster's Donuts was a chain of shops in SoCal in the 70s and 80s. Many were sold, and so that the new owners would not have to invest in a new sign, simply dropped the 'F' - making them 'Oster's Donuts' - true story! Great fun, Adam. You make me laugh.

I love doughnuts! Thanks for keeping on with your videos. I have been sick the past 2 weeks. I rejected a kidney transplant that I had for 20 years last week and been in the hospital most of the time and your videos give me something to look forward to. So thank you, Adam. I love Jalapeños too! Actually Im a sucker for punishment with hot peppers. I love the super hots such as Ghost Peppers, Carolina Reapers, Scorpion Peppers and such (which can get up to 100 times hotter than a jalapeño!) also those peppers in sauces!

There was a winchells donuts in a little town called Elcajon California when I first moved there from England years ago the Eclear donut was absolutely delicious. The place isn't there anymore. I shall pay that place a visit next time I get out to LA. Thanks for bringing back good memories.

Adam nice hanging out with you and hearing your take on what you thought of Winchell’s and i was glad to hear you would return to that establishment now where I live in Torrance California there used to be one about two blocks from my house so as a young kid we would get donuts there all the time but it’s no longer around so it was nice see that they still do exist also it has been so much fun when you find a nice park to consume your meals but it also nice when ever your eating in Anaheim it nice to see you eating at the most amazing and beautiful places in Anaheim the Anaheim Convention Center so i must say Adam you sure know how to pick um so thank for another great time and for me a trip down memory lane keep up the good work and I’ll see you on the next food review vlog adventure also please be safe out there

Good memories. Tons used to be around Sacramento. The early 90's hit and all disappeared. Glad to know some are still around. They're real donuts and honestly could put many out of business if consumers only knew.

We used to have a Winchell's in Denton, TX back in the 70's. I was 6 and I remember going there with my mom and brother and getting a chocolate covered donut and some donut holes and a chocolate milk. I miss those times. Now I'm wanting donuts. But, it's pouring down rain 🌧

Winchell's Donuts, and similar donut shops, being open 24 hours is what perpetuated the "Cops Love Donuts" stereotype. Police working overnights had few options for food, and would get donuts by default.

Adam, this is my all time favorite brand of donuts. I used to get my Winchell's Donuts from the corner (near the corner) of paramount and Del Amo in Lakewood, CA, but that location doesn't exist anymore. My most recent visit to a Winchell's was to this very location within your video. I was staying at the Ayers hotel just down the street. Love those donuts! Good times, and good memories. My Mom And Dad used to go to drive in sermons at the Crystal cathedral in the 60's... It was set up like a drive in movie where you put the speaker in the window or tune in on radio. Plus I've been to a couple of AA meetings there, awesome view.... wonder if they still have AA meetings there?

I grew up in Winchell's donut house, I slept on bags of flour many a nights while my mother baked dunuts. They didn't have anything but donuts and coffee back then, this was in the 70's and 80's. My mother eventually moved up to manager and district manager running stores in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. I even baked donuts for a short time at Winchell's myself. I can't stand donuts to this day, I guess when you get them for free they lose their appeal. If there are any winchell's left, it can't be many, the company began to dwinlde when they sold to a Canadian group and didn't really have the backing of the company, or at least that is the way it was told to me. Anyway, this definantly brought back some memories AdamTheWoo, thanks for the video!

We had a Winchell's Donut House in our town probably 40 years ago. I still remember them after all these years. The building is still there (and looks almost identical to the building in the thumbnail) but its a Greek restaurant of some sort nowadays.
