@Bougatof Reverb A and B are in a separate folder from the install. Its a legacy plug-in (older) and we included in older versions of cubase. It was in a folder on the cubase 5 install disc..

@TheAcholi yup, double click the audio recording wave. Then there is a "Vari-audio" tab on the left. Click the arrow to the right of the vari-audio tab. It should then show you the notes. It might say something like "do you want to do this?" or something but your good. And then you can select each note and move it.

@RisingMetalDemon in the track there is a little tiny speaker icon you need to press its called the "Monitor" button. Its right next to the record enable button on the track

@Carictica Any one of the three will work, you can just fiddle with the "mix" fader or knob and get a close enough sound. I believe the reverbA is included on the install DVD number 1. you have to explore the DVD and look for them and copy them over to your "VST plugins" folder. Peace!

@thorn689 You can draw in notes in the midi editor. Just use the pencil tool to draw an "event" in the sequencer window. then just pencil in the notes you want to use like programming drum patterns. Enjoy!

@craydiss Cubase is awesome for vocals! To be honest though, it all depends on what your putting into it. If you use a good preamp and good converters (Audio interface) then you will get a great sound. Cubase is just the program that collects the data and allows you to edit the performance in some ways. Pitch, time, and of course you can apply all sorts of effects and processing to each vocal take. If you buy it online you should buy through my link in the discription, It helps me out! :-)

Hi, there is a moment in your video tutorial that you take a revert because I now use Cubase 5 and I want that I Rebert pluins installed in, but there is no way that I go, I do not appear in the pluin before I used cubase sx 3 and if I went out the rbert, you can tell me how I do it so that I can use it in cubase 5, thanks.

Its on the install disc in one of the additional folders. Its an old reverb from the older version of cubase. Just find it and copy it over to your VST folder on your hard drive. :)

I turn on Monitor, and I do seem to get things like compression working, as I can hear it getting louder, like with you, but I still can't hear the pitch-correct in real-time like you do at 2:20 - 2:25. I probably just need to tinker around a bit more and I'll get it!

@niiXy Its a "Legacy" plugin. Its on the install disc. Open the disc or right click and "Explore" You should find a folder called "Legacy plugins" or something like that. Just copy and paste those folders into your "VST folder" under your C drive. Peace!

@fuad61 I beleive I showed how in this video. You just record your vocals and then record the midi notes you trigger and its done! You can make adjustments to the notes in the midi editor and you can just leave it or export it to another track to save resources. Peace!

@Rich7714 You can monitor it real time, but there is a wicked delay due to the processing it needs... There is a small speaker icon in the track window. its right next to the Record button on the track your vocal correcting. :-)

Thanks a lot man, that helped me a lot! I have not tried yet, still I am concerned whether I can use this way of correctiong to edit my vocals on a whole post-hardcore song. You know, I don't really want it to sound that much T-Painish. So what settings would I want to use so it corrects my voice well, but still lets it sound normal. and: Can I use a midi track which i composed to attach my voice to?

hmmmz. i have cubase le5 but i don't have all those things in inserts. alot of effects but not what u have... but that doesn't matter... i just wanted to know if there was a way to correct my vocal recordings with a bit of pitchcorrection/autotune... i make punkrock music ..or poppunk....all time low style... and just wanted a bit of those things just to make it sounds a little bit better... i hate the rapper autotune stuff.. but well,can i buy something,a plug-in for cubase...? :)

@VideoPropaganda36 Thanks! There is a "MIDI keyboard" under the "Transport" menu at the top. Or right click the transport bar and select it from the drop down menu. then you should be able to use the computer keyboard letters. Peace!

@ashmerlin Thanks! Its great to use on guitar too you know. You can correct that one note that was not quite pulled up to the next note during a solo. There is also the Vari-Audio function which works easier for guitar parts. You double click on the audio file, and select the Vari-Audio tab on the left. Then select the note you see that doesn't jive and put it in tune by dragging it up or down. :) Cheers mate!

I can't figure out how to get my mic to display in the pitch correction plug-in, like when you talk and it makes the little waves and auto-tunes you in real time. any ideas? I run my mic through a Line 6 Tone Port and the Gearbox application into Cubase

Thanks for the tutorial! The only problem is I've never been able to find out how to make SFX active in real-time like you just did; I can only hear the effect when applied to an already recorded piece of audio. I want to be able to hear it as I speak in real-time
