There is a pre drilled hole in the back of the safe that you can finish drilling through to run electric. It is only visible standing behind the safe.

this is true, I have the same safe but the 36 gun model from Tractor Supply and it had a pre-drilled hole in the lower corner of the safe and I had to finish drilling it through the sheet rock.

Does that affect the fire rating? I would think a hole would negate that value.

Just FYI, from what I’ve seen (plus, I have that same one), there is a hole, kinda/sorta, on the back bottom. It has a plastic cover over it, but it doesn’t go completely thru to the inside, just thru the sheet metal, just hav to drill thru the drywall to complete it. That’s what I’m gonna do right now, saw someone else on here do the same thing, different safe, but had the same plastic cover over it. Hope it works 🤞 lol

Did you have to shore up your flooring or are you on a slab? I have researched weight bearings of traditional construction of homes and floors should sustain just over 1000 lbs. I would place one against a load bearing wall and should be fine if the math computation is correct.

I have that same safe and love it you can hold alot of stuff in it . Of course like all of the safes the rifle racks are not true to 26 maybe if you tried very hard . I have 7 rifles in it and it’s kind of a booger to get them to fit right not too bad though .

Remember, the digital locks are a problematic issue among safe makers. If under warranty, contact the safe manufacture. If not, Amazon sales them for $59.99 each.

Yeah I have a hole as well. But you have to finish drilling it out yourself if you want to use it.

Cool review! Question - Where those packaging bolts punch through the bottom of the safe floor, does that give you a floor mount option, IE a wedge anchor? Thank you

Yes! The safe comes with 2 Large L brackets bolted to the bottom. This allows them to move the safe without damaging it. Once in place you can remove the brackets and the 4 holes are left behind and they can be used to bolt the safe to the ground. They go completely through the bottom of the safe

Just brought one home today. Very nice safe for the moola. The only negative is the sidewall metal is a little on the thin side. Someone could get through it with small grinder. Bore a small hole in the side and borescope it then start cutting...Probably take about 30 minutes or less if Mr. Burglar strikes something explosive or flammable....Then its BBQ time

Are you and others still enjoying this safe? Saw reviews on tractor supply’s website of many people years ago having issues with the locking mechanism (the keypad usually stopped working)

I liked your video man, but it’s essential to have your safe bolted down. It would only take 2 or 3 guys to carry your safe out of your house in a very short period of time.

Safe weighs 367 lbs empty. Add in a bunch of long guns, ammo and other crap, and you are well over 400-450lbs. Granted i am all for bolting, but it would take a lot of effort for 3 guys to carry that out of a house. They could use a dolly I guess but your average home invader is a criminal of opportunity and chance, not very skilled or intelligent. Usually drug addicts. 9 times out of 10 they aren't even going to try.

U should have bought the Winchester 36 long gun for 599. Apply for there credit card to get 10 percent off and once the mail comes in to finalize the credit card just throw the paper away. I paid 584 for the Winchester 36

It's very difficult to fit the number of longs guns a safe will supposedly hold. It's more realistic to divide that number by 2.

4 locking pins the handle locks unlocks only 1 side but still great safe

Correct but on the hinge side, there is 4 more solid pins that wrap around the meal frame when the door is shut so the door cannot be pried open from the hinge side if someone removed the hinges

I have two full size ammo cans on one shelf filled to the top with 12 gauge ammunition. Each can is very very heavy. So the shelf can hold just about anything you can fit on it.

Ok how reliable is the locking system and is it a good locking system?..some say no…is the key an actual over ride on the locking system….don’t think so….great safe otherwise as I paid 649.00 TS …..so a great presentation otherwise….I think they call it UAL locking if it’s good… this safe is from China…FYI
