Are you Catholic? Did you know that Mary is not a Perpetual Virgin? Because she had Sex and Gave Birth to other Children: Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us?Matthew 13:55-56 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the BROTHER of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his SISTERS here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. Mark 6:3-4 Mary Shouldn't also be Exalted over Men as your Catechism 966 Says: Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death." The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son's Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians. (Catechism 966) Because: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 You have also made Mary a Pagan Goddess by exalting her thus as: The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. Jeremiah 7:18 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And when we burned incense to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to WORSHIP HER, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men? Etc...Jeremiah 44:17-19 Also Peter is not the Pope or the Rock as Catholics Believe within Catechism 881-882: The Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock. "The office of binding and loosing which was given to Peter was also assigned to the college of apostles united to its head." This pastoral office of Peter and the other apostles belongs to the Church's very foundation and is continued by the bishops under the primacy of the Pope. (Catechism 881) The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, "is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful." "For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered." (Catechism 882) Jesus is the Rock, As Peter Believed he was the Rock that the Church is Built upon: To whom coming, as unto a living STONE, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief CORNER STONE, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the STONE which the builders disallowed, the same is made the HEAD OF THE CORNER, And a STONE of stumbling, and a ROCK of offence. 1 Peter 2:4-8 Paul also believed Jesus is the Rock that the Church is Built upon: And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that ROCK was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:4 Peter rejected People Bowing Down to him: And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. Acts 10:25-26 Contrary to how Pope's allow people Bowing down to them. Peter also had a Wife: And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. Matthew 8:14 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. Luke 4:38 Contrary to your belief that Pope's are meant to be Celibate. Also there is no such thing as a purgatory Catechism 1030-1031 says: All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. (Catechism 1030) The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence and Trent. The tradition of the Church, by reference to certain texts of Scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire. (Catechism 1031) Only ETERNAL Hellfire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with UNQUENCHABLE FIRE. Matthew 3:12 And Celebratung Mass (eating Jesus's Flesh and Drinking his Blood) is not necessary for Salvation as Catechism 1406-1407 says: 'Jesus said: "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; . . . he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and . . . abides in me, and I in him" (Jn 6:51, 54, 56). The Eucharist is the heart and the summit of the Church's life, for in it Christ associates his Church and all her members with his sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving offered once for all on the cross to his Father; by this sacrifice he pours out the graces of salvation on his Body which is the Church. (Catechism 1406-1407)' As eating his Flesh is only Spiritual as Jesus said: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. John 6:47-48 Because The Flesh Profits nothing: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth NOTHING: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

Also Bowing down and Venaratung Images is wrong which you do according to Catechism 2132: The Christian veneration of images is not contrary to the first commandment which proscribes idols. Indeed, "the honor rendered to an image passes to its prototype," and "whoever venerates an image venerates the person portrayed in it." The honor paid to sacred images is a "respectful veneration," not the adoration due to God alone. (Catechism 2132) Because: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me Exodus. 20:4-5 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 26:1 Prayng to Saints is also wrong which you do according to Catechism 956: The intercession of the saints. "Being more closely united to Christ, those who dwell in heaven fix the whole Church more firmly in holiness. . . . They do not cease to intercede with the Father for us, as they proffer the merits which they acquired on earth through the one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus. . . . So by their fraternal concern is our weakness greatly helped." (Catechism 956) Because it is Praying to the Dead. It is Necromancy: Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a NECROMANCER. Deuteronomy 18:11 And only the Spirit makes Intercession for us: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 To put in a Nutshell, Being a Catholic is Antibiblical. Jesus Saves!
@johnpereira9755 Жыл бұрын
@@ayoolukoga9829 You have tried to foist your own ignorance and narrow-mindedness on Catholics. For example, you misinterpreted the word " brethren" of Jesus to mean His siblings. it most definitely means cousins or near relatives and not siblings. Even when in the OT Yahweh says He would send a prophet from among "your brethren" it means from the 12 tribes of Israel. The rest of what you have written is judgmental gibberish. You say being a Catholic is Anti-Biblical. Am I to suppose you follow the Bible literally? If that is the case, would you turn the other cheek when someone slaps you one cheek? At least by your toxic and insolent accusations you have exposed yourself as a hypocrite who maligns Catholics against Jesus' own advice, " Judge not so that you will not be judged"

@@ayoolukoga9829 In many Middle Eastern and Asian languages brother and sister can mean cousin especially in joint families and not necessarily siblings. That Jesus was a carpenter's son refers to His foster father Joseph. It is possible that many people were unaware that Jesus was born by the power of the Holy Spirit without male intervention. To prove your point, you must give a verse from the Gospels that says Mary had many other children from Joseph. Otherwise, your insolent and rash fulminations drawn from ambiguous verses amounts to unadulterated trash.

There is God. You must come to Him through Jesus Christ. You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. We all have sinned by our human nature, but when we confess our sins, ask for forgiveness, we can ask Jesus into our heart and be cleansed by His shed Blood. Please invite Him in, and start your life with God. I have testimonies of God's Faithfulness. Even when things happen, He remains faithful.

I pray that the healing Power of God will touch your husband in the Name of Jesus. The Word of God says, " In this world you shall see tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." I have gone through so many things in my life, but I am still standing today because of His Faithfulness. When we walk with the Lord, our way is lightened, and we can handle life better. May God's Peace and Richest Blessings abide with your household in Jesus' Name. Amen. Shalom Shalom. Jesus is Lord.

How Great Thou are is a spiritual song with text from 1885 by Carl Boberg (1859-1940) from Sweden. It was first printed in the Swedish Newspaper in Mönsterås on March 13, 1886. Carl Boberg wrote the text after witnessing a thunderstorm at Oknö by Kalmarsund in Sweden. The music is an edited Swedish folk melody. On swedish language "O Store Gud". The song is one of the world's most widespread spiritual songs. The English translation (How great Thou art) has been sung by several great artists. Amoung thoose Elvis Presley. Carl Boberg had three jobs. He worked as a teacher at the school in Mönsterås. He also served as a åreacher in the church in Mönsterås and at the same time he was also elected as a member of the Swedish Parlament in Stockholm. He was an amazing man.

This song is favorite of my Grandfa and my grandma. I was with them until 12yrs old. My father also favorite this song. Now my wife and my children knows that this song is also my favorite. I always sing this song after my testimony and when I'm guessing in other church gathering. Truly makes my hearts❤💞 worship my Loving God with all my spirit and my emotions everytime that I'm singing this song. Thank you Lord❤❤❤

As a liturgist, one of the few times I talked back to a minister was when she told me she hated this song and didn't want it in her church. I told her that she clearly wasn't thinking straight and that she should leave certain decisions to the liturgist. This is a powerful song that everyone loves and can be done almost any time of the year. Maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh. But that's how much she annoyed me when she laughingly insulted this song.

She clearly isn't a true believer! Her motives for being a minister are left to God but, as you mentioned, this song has power. This song ignites the fire of the Holy Spirit. Anyone who doesn't like it has disdain for the power or spirit of God. The name Jesus Christ has power too. If she refuses to speak the name Jesus Christ, or acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord then, she is a fake and has the spirit of antichrist. Not thee antichrist but, the spirit of one. Satan has many false plants in the church.

@@Jesus.Bridged.The__Gap Hey Joyful Noise. I only just got your comment. Would you believe, I played it tonight? And of course everyone loved it. I'm afraid you may be more right than you know. I better not say too much about her, but I kind of share your opinion. There is something so moving about this hymn. And no matter how often I play it, people NEVER get tired of it. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

Joyful Noise Who are you to condemn the faith of another human being? Who do you think you are entitled to use the words “Not a true believer” ? I’ve read a lot in YT comments but this is by far the most pretentious comment I have ever seen.

@eternalhalloween1 Your choice of username, your channel content and the way you have spoken about a member of the church are extremely questionable considering your line of work and faith. You would do well to take the plank out of your own eye before pointing out the speck in someone else's. Just some food for thought. The fruit of the spirit is really lacking in this thread of comments. We as Christians should be focusing on what is good, lovely, excellent and commendable instead of needlessly and anonymously criticising others who aren't here to defend themselves online. If you don't have anything nice to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything. Gossiping online about someone behind their back isn't befitting behaviour.

I've been searching for a version of this hymn that I can use in my private devotion. I like this version It's very basic, not a lot of adornment like some versions. And I like that it has the lyrics at the bottom. Thank you for posting!

I'm happily a non-believer.. however. This song is fantastic. Thank you Granny for choosing it as one of the songs for your own funeral.. and making us sing *every. single. verse.* It was a moving experience and if Church service was more of this and less what it is in reality, I might be enticed.. inexperienced group singing is something churches have mastered and it's so satisfying.
