Hey there, my name is Simon from SafeandVaultStore.com. Today, I'm excited to introduce the Winchester Ranger 26 Gun Safe. This model boasts a 60-minute fire rating tested at 1400 degrees and a UL RSC security rating, making it a robust choice for your firearm storage needs.
Part of Winchester's new model lines, the Ranger 26 features several improvements and new functionalities. The safe is constructed from 12-gauge steel, with walls over 1-1/2" thick and a door over 4" thick. It includes an AC power connection for the internal power strip at the back and a user-friendly Securam backlit digital keypad with an external battery compartment on the front. Additionally, it has a 60-61 RC hardplate over the internal lock body to thwart drill attacks.
Opening the safe activates the included motion-sensing LED light kit, illuminating the interior. The door is secured by 12 locking bolts: 5 active bolts on the opening side, one active bolt on the top and bottom each, and 5 passive bolts on the hinge side.
The interior door panel can hold up to six handguns, along with space for accessories or documents. A standout feature of the new model line is the Gun STIXX, which are plastic rods that fit into the barrel of your long guns, securing them in place within the safe.
The safe's shelves are adjustable, allowing for various configurations. For example, you can place shelves a few inches off the bottom to store crates of ammunition without worrying about weight limitations. The safe can accommodate longer rifles using Gun STIXX and shorter firearms in the traditional rifle racking on the side.
At the bottom, there’s a power outlet strip with two outlets-one occupied by the light kit and the other available for a dehumidifier rod, useful in humid areas. The strip also has two USB slots for charging devices. Additionally, black plastic plugs cover anchor holes for bolting the safe to a solid surface.
