After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzbin.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

I got the sure cycle magazine extension tube on my winchester sx4 which could use 3.5 shells and it helps with the recoil i ran remington hypersonic 3 inch 1700fps rounds through the pipe with out the extension tube and with it the extension magazine sure helps with recoil the sure cycle also adds more weight to the front of the barrel i like it and i also have the BROWNING GOLD HUNTER 3 inch only ive had it since 2011 2012 my dad got it for me while i was in high school and it cycles bullets faster then my winchester sx4 i mean ivw been using it every year till this year 2019 next year 2020 spring time here in AK ill go using my winchester sx4

@@lloydyp im from ALASKA 907 Alaskan Yupik we dont use any dug outs only natural dug outs or quarrys we use the natural vegitation and buy camo gear from where ever we can find em cabelas amazon mostly use grassy camo gear as im from the flats we also make what we call "nayuqs" na-yuks blinds made from sticks grass mud

Hi Lloyd, how does the rib compare to a rib on an OU? Is it like a flat rib or more like a midrib type of shooting? Does it shoot high or flat?

The Franchi Affinity is basically an M2 underneath. However if you handle the 2 guns you will feel the difference. The M2 feels like a much more premium gun to handle, the ergo on the Franchi just feels a little off to me. It will be just as reliable for sure, and if it fit's you, go for it. I would however suggest shooting bnoth guns before deciding between the 2.

Jonas Lugg very similar handling but I would have an M2 over either of them. I just hate cleaning gas guns.

Thanks. I cannot decide between the L4s ant the m2. I don`t really mind the extra cleaning. For me, the balance, finish, feel and handling is the most important. How would you compare the L4s and the m2 in terms of that?

Very very similar, Honestly it will come down to trying both and buying the one you like the feel of if you can. There is very little to separate them if you ignore the Gas / Inertia difference.

I made the mistake of buying one of these, after having an Sx3 the stock I agreed is too short, and with Winchester removing the stock shim system that made the Sx3 so adaptable, I simply could not get the gun fitting correctly. Bought a Browning Maxus and although similar in many ways it is a revelation compared to the Sx4. Poor show Winchester you have taken the Sx3 built it down to a price point, ruined it and called it a new model.

Im sure you could have made up a spacer, most browning and winchester semi autos use the same barrels and even the gas pistons have been identical since the sx2/ browning silver which is 20 years ago. The maxus is slightly different in design but like most shotguns its how it fits you that counts.

Never shot slugs Matt so I have no idea. Slugs wouldn't be much use for clays I fear. Based on a quick google search however answers.fieldandstream.com/forum/guns/shotguns/18025-what-is-the-best-choke-tube-to-use-in-a-smooth-bore-shotgun-for-shooting-slugs-and-buckshot?150239= choke seems to be the lmiting factor.

So? the Winchesters cyclic rate is impressive but I am not in the business of dropping birds by filling the air with lead. If shaving milliseconds off follow up shots is how you fill your bag, that's up to you.

Well..all I can say..after 30 yrs of trap..I love my beretta 390 ..and 391-A...I have..and have fired all the autos made...I will take my old beretta and Whip your ass...lol...anytime for 100.00 cash...(and my Browning Citori's, & Perizza's)...let's shoot at the Grand...ok
