I really want to thank you for making this video. My mag jammed up this morning, and you walked me through the fix. I thought I was going to have to buy another mag, but now I'm good to go. THANK YOU

You did everything correctly with the exception of winding the spring. From the position that you put the leg of the spring under the tab, it needs to be wound three more times to give the proper pre-load on the spring to get the magazine to feed properly. You can accomplish this by using need nose pliers on the leg of the spring and rotating the black follower and setting it back under the tab after each rotation. After winding it 3 times, I would suggest pushing the last coil of the spring down into the hole to get the back plate to align more easily when putting it back on.

Thanks for finishing this video! 3 times around is perfect!

Thanks man, also I would like to add that sometimes that little "last round" holder pin can bend, just be very careful with it. As RM 7 said, make sure you spin the spring 3 times and it will have proper weight to load the next round in. Thanks RM 7!

As some others have said, thank you do much for making this. Cleaning mine out, & having not cleaned the actual magazine after nearly 1000 rounds I figured I'd do that too (it's been a butt to load past the first round for a while). Pin fell out while cleaning & had no idea where it went back in the magazine....so again, thank you for your help here.

Great job , my magazine popped open by itself, your video was very helpful. Thank you

Thanks for the info, really useful, my mag popped open today whilst loadingit, was a bit dirty, not a good sign for the future, my Ruger BX25 saved the day at the range. But I followed your instructions and all went well, I didn't put any extra torque on the spring and it feeds superbly, loading, ejecting on cycling bolt and locking open on empty. Maybe the springs were updated as this gun is only six months old.

Thanks again, excellent tutorial.I had a problem with my magazines, both 2 new when bought the gun. One worked fine the other was very stiff loading 1st two round, and if I forced it, it would pop open. Manage to reassemble it a few times after watching your video, but a simple know would make it pop open with or without ammo. Took it back to my local RFD who swap it from a brand new. I have since shot over 4000 rounds no issues but they look pretty dusty in need of a good scrub, but have to confess I’m a bit worried to get then open and clean just in case I had the original issue. 🏴👍

Received 1 of my mags "broken" from factory. Took it apart to see if I could fix it since the pin was just loose inside it somehow. Thanks for the easy straight to the point tutorial!

Thanks man, you’re a life saver 😁 I accidentally took mine apart and couldn’t get it together correctly. Thank you ☺️

1:56 correction spring must be twisted around an additional time to have enough tension on the spring to feed rounds properly.
@penzman5385 Жыл бұрын
Thanks a million! I was going to order another one but put it back together now. No longer red, has turned maroon. I had previously broken the one of the 2 small red clips, next to the feeder, but it seems to still hold tight.

Gr8 I thought I really screwed up but evidently you don't have to wind spring. So thanks a lot I did not realize this so I abandoned ship, back to reassembly.

I tried putting mine back together like this and it will go back together but it don’t have enough spring tension to feed correctly

Same issue. Now that I'm home, think I fixed it but won't know till next range day. Did you end up fixing it? I think I just needed to line up the slot on the red cover piece with the center of the spring, seems to load with tension now
@circuszero3 жыл бұрын
@@uninvited13 yeah if you put the sping in the two tabs it should create enough tension to properly feed the rounds if not the spring was made incorrectly and you may have to spin that last extention from the spring a full rotation but I would contact the manufacturer. That extra tension on the spring will probably cause fed issues or cause it to break eventually.

@@circuszero Thank you. It did feel tighter the last time I assembled it. I guess I should familiarize with taking the whole rifle apart, but that kind of stuff always makes me worry ill be in this position where I'm not sure I'll be able to put it back together. On that, thanks for the video too!
@circuszero3 жыл бұрын
@@uninvited13 glad I was able to help. I know how you feel I didn't know that much about gun before I bought my 1st gun back in 2020. I've learned by doing and watching video's on here. We have all been there with not knowing weather it be a gun or new to gun we expand our knowledge and spread out it there to help others.

Are you noticing that the rounds rattle around a lot in your mags? It's happening in the mag that came with the rifle and the 3 additional mags that I bought. I'm trying to imagine walking through the woods sounding like a damn maraca lol. Am I missing something?
@circuszero Жыл бұрын
Yeah it does rattle unfortunately the channel for the rounds are a little too tall and too wide gives them the room to rattle around I'm guessing it gives some space just incase manufacturing errors and still function reliably.
@drewmunny Жыл бұрын
@@circuszero for sure, in the year now that I've had this rifle, it's ran reliably so I can't really complain. I'll take the rattling if it provides reliability! The OEM Ruger mags work well too, they're just a little more difficult to insert and the bolt won't lock open after the final round. All things considered, it's a good rifle!

Can u do a complete disassembly of the trigger. Also I'm wondering if there's a extended mag release for the gun or if your able to install any binary trigger to it
@austin10k Жыл бұрын
Pull back on either the red tab in front of the magazine slot, or on the little red lines on the side of the gun (on either side of the magazine area recessed in the stock of the gun) and it should allow release.

They are compatible magazines. Just like a lot companies use glock compatible magazines.
