After a long winter, when the days are longer and the sun peaks out, one has to just get out there and skate. Even if there are 40 mph wind gusts. Wind def added another layer of resistance. Hat went flying multiple times, but we pushed through.
I start on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and end up at the Oculus, which is right by the World Trade Center all the way downtown. I did my best to edit out some of the wind noise, but this was definitely a challenging one. I hope you enjoy it!

Please write the full configuration of your rollers. Powerslide Next Charcoal 90? If they are, can you tell me the max boot foot width? Did you change the Liner to a different one or are you using the standard one? What wheels do you buy as replacements, what do you recommend?

Insta360 offers more flexibility. If you are filming yourself, it's going to be challenging to get the right shots with a GoPro style kind of action camera. I also find that Insta360 cameras are more reliable. My GoPro Hero 10 has croaked on me so many times...

How the hell do we not have follower drone cameras at this point? Having to carry a stick & skate is ridiculous. Someone should have developed a somewhat affordable mini drone camera that hones to whatever is carrying the base signal and can fly autonomously or have input from the base.

I mean two things. That follower drone sounds expensive af but it's also illegal to fly drones in NYC especially in certain areas. Manhattan is a no fly zone. Also, the amount of interference there would prob be with a follower drone would likely mean that the drone would crash quickly. Maybe if I lived elsewhere, but in NY. No way.

Great show! Congratulation... By the way, did you know that there are three types of rollerskaters: Those with properly fitted helmet, those without helmet & those with loosely fitted helmet. The first one likes their skull, although they might overestimate its value, the second type prefers their comfort vs their longevity, & the third type with loosely fitted helmet who don't give a sh... about their usefulness on earth & could be right about that. Hey. Don’t get a tbi. It will happen in a way you least expect it. I skate like you. Only two big crashes in 34 years. I only needed the helmet twice. And it saved me both times.

I was looking into getting some new skates for urban riding and I really like the white powerslides you have but I want the 90 mm wheels and I can only find the boot in the 110 mm size. Did you have to buy them and set up a different frame on them?

If you wear your hat backwards, bill facing the back, the wind won't grab it near as easily, also adds an extra 10 cool points, almost as good as smoking ( don't smoke kids )
