Muppandal Wind Farm, in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India, is home to more than 3,000 wind turbines, making it the largest in India.
Power generated from the farm feeds India's central grid, and the industry offers livelihoods to educated youths and has lifted living standards for the communities. However, rising land prices leave past land sellers in regret. As the town grapples with economic transformation, the delicate balance between progress and environmental preservation becomes apparent.

Same thing when done in China, will be celebrated by this channel. No tears on land and ecology there. China mines a lot of rare earths, by causing massive pollution. So many buildings demolished due to real estate crisis, ehich cause dust pollution. Don't talk about that. Suddenly, you are worried about us.

Pure air has no price. Well said. Not every bit of land needs to be destroyed to make ways for new energy source. The coconut grove is so wonderful look at and needs to be enjoyed every day of the year. He can nicely make that into a camping site or for daily business events or even a wedding event while preserveing the way it is now. he can even let schools bring their children and create awareness of beautiful places of nature.

The companies interested in installing wind turbines purchase the land???? In my country, they pay rent to the landowners. The money is not much but interesting offer and does not stop landowners from tilling the land. Purchasing famers' lands will cause a real estate bubble and increase farm produce prices. Companies renting a small spot to the original landowners where the wind turbine is installed would be the right solution. Everyone would be happy.

@youxkio
@youxkio 16 күн бұрын
@@amrithMilW Yes, but then what happens to the owners? do they purchase land somewhere else? You know this growth of land value may end in a bubble and only increases agro produce prices. Meanwhile India is growing its demographic population. Seems a bad mixture going on there. Look what happened in china with property development. I know it is a different case because it is not apartments, but in India's case is land. I love wind turbines and new renewables but I think there could be better solutions for property owners.
