at 28:46 he says if he hadn't sold to the wind farm he could sell the land now for higher price. how is that the fault of wind farms. he needed money then and he needs it now. his story is sad and life didnt improve for him. but what we don't see is the added growth in the town for others due to more electricity. so the qn is not "at what cost" but should be if the benefits outweigh .... i think he would be in this problem even if there was no wind power, the land price would not have risen so much, in which case he would not regret so much, but still wouldnt benefit him any.

The companies interested in installing wind turbines purchase the land???? In my country, they pay rent to the landowners. The money is not much but interesting offer and does not stop landowners from tilling the land. Purchasing famers' lands will cause a real estate bubble and increase farm produce prices. Companies renting a small spot to the original landowners where the wind turbine is installed would be the right solution. Everyone would be happy.

@@amrithMilW Yes, but then what happens to the owners? do they purchase land somewhere else? You know this growth of land value may end in a bubble and only increases agro produce prices. Meanwhile India is growing its demographic population. Seems a bad mixture going on there. Look what happened in china with property development. I know it is a different case because it is not apartments, but in India's case is land. I love wind turbines and new renewables but I think there could be better solutions for property owners.

If you think the cartoonish fake sound they edited in is actually heard in the location for real, you are sadly mistaken. You are probably the exact kind of person they were baiting with the addition of that fake sound. This place is a common rest stop for a lot of long distance bus travelers, the only thing you can hear there is the wind itself. Whatever sound the wind turbines make are barely even audible.

What was the need to edit in that cartoonishly artificial fake swishing sound? Was the peaceful nature of a rural town in India so unsettling to this channel that they has to add in some kind of noise artificially? Even the editing itself is so low effort, its not even in sync with the visual of the wind turbines in most of the frames?
