Smartest move you could have made!!!! Fuc$ wind river peak!!! That was the sketchiest shit I’ve done. Love the winds! Plan to go back in September doing another high route loop.

We baiiled at The Cirque of the Towers. Hardest route I've ever done. Mad respect for going back to finish it!

Wow, what a route. It looked pretty brutal. I'm sure it is worth all those incredible views. I did the CDT section through the Winds last year. Awesome hike, but your route blows it out. Maybe next time. Take care!

That's an EPIC trip but not for weak backpackers. The Winds is just too windy. Is there any single day that there is no rain? Thanks for bring me along.

Thanks! Yep the Winds are epic, but yeah it was pretty rough weather haha. I think we did have a decent day or two, and then the last section where I went back by myself was thankfully perfect weather wise!
