Weather sure can play havoc with aviation, eh? Excellent vid. Glad you were safe. KPIT had an evening where we had some wicked weather. I was listening to the PIT ATC, and a tornado was confirmed on the ground heading in their direction.🌪🌪 They evacuated the ATC tower, and had a ground stop. Lasted for about an hour. Just north of me there were several reported/confirmed tornadoes.🌪🌪 Didn't affect me, but had a LOT of rain, so I still had to make a Skywarn report for that. All is good here. Everything was okay at the airport, but it was close! 💕✈💕✈

Hi Captain What a crazy go loco Sunday eh? I like the way the Captain said...."No thank you" when asked if he wanted to go.......Smart man Wind shear is risky for sure Spirit in the sky....(Norman Greenbaum") did it with the "Pencil Sharpener" ......🎩hats off to him Strange WOS surprise......UAL clears? Another one for the record book Who will win the "Wally Award?" The suspense is building 😆 Well, Tomorrow we go back to PBI from PHL on an A-321 Blast off machine.....Yay👏 Finally got a Philly Cheese Steak today ......only trouble is....no steak only chicken.....still good though Thanks again for the show ....appreciate it 👍✈🚀 See ya tomorrow 🫡

You are not wrong about the logo on the back of the FedEx 767. That’s was the 100th one. FedEx has more 767’s than any other freight carriers. The current number is 137. Boeing is still making more for them.

Nice Foxy Moxie take offs❤! We saw 2 yesterday and 1 today while out and about. Fed Ex didn’t waste any time. Avelo flew right over us as we were driving towards town on Veterans yesterday morning (near TPA) as it was landing. I felt like I could practically touch it! Was cool. Interesting how the planes were hesitant on the wind shear.

If you want to do a surprise pre-Europe spotting trip, how about some west coast love? LAX or SFO? Also, something I noticed...there was one point you called out the wind at 280 @ 22 knots...yet they were doing 19 takeoffs with that 22-knot crosswind. Why doesn't TPA do something to increase passenger safety and lengthen 10/28 to 10,000 feet so it's a viable option with those types of crosswinds?
