So you started with headdown after 2h of tunnel time??

I did my first tandem about a month ago so of course I'm hooked now and want to do a aff course. My location sucks for everything as there's nothing around me so I have to travel to do wind tunnel time. I plan on booking 5 flights of coaching just to start learning the basics of flight control. Hopefully that will be enough to help out with aff when I decide to do it. My question is, once you learn this stuff is it somewhat easy to remember? Like riding a bike.

Yeah its just amazing and it should be worth the effort ✌️. How long is one flight? And yes its like riding a bike, maybe you feel a little bit rusty but thats all 😁

@@SKYDICTED I'm not sure how long each flight is. I'll have to ask when I call

How much time in the tunnel and how many jumps did you have when you started this? I have about 110 jumps and just bought 3 hours in the tunnel so I’m wondering how much more I’ll need to get to this point! Great video man

hey thanks! you find my tunneltime in the description and I think I had around 160 jumps at this point

Five hours is very little time... You have some talent and a decent jumping experience, right? ;) I can't imagine I'd be capable of what you're doing after just five hours of tunnel time. Still flying? How is your HD now?
@SKYDICTED4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I am still flying. However, more outside and less in the wind tunnel. If you are interested you can find my progression in this playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLrt60KGtgMnMqiAWftHL3RvfDTUUQ2N2m

They should've had you in a student suit or something with some drag. That would've made a huge difference while learning. That suit you have looks very fast.
@SKYDICTED4 жыл бұрын
Indeed, the suite is really fast and I decided to wear it to learn flying in a proper way without "help" by a bigger suite.
@91nikolai913 жыл бұрын
@@SKYDICTED Yeah, totally disagree with using a student suit. If you are planning to fly that suit, then start as soon as possible to fly that suit. Learning to fly a new suit takes hours, just like learning to find out the manouvering characteristics of a new car. It might be harder in the beginning, but you also save yourself a lot of wasted time. I always tell my students to get their own suit as fast as possible - one that fits the use they plan to have (Freestyle/VFS/Dynamic flying).
