I know this sounds terribly mean, but the moment he didn't get the horseshoe golfing chest, I was hoping he would do "100%" just to realize some / all of the super long checks were for naught. But no worries, I equally felt the pain when he saw that joy pendant, I've had wrongly marked checks that broke my mind in the past as well. Also for the question at 1:40:55 I like to watch these VODs in 2-3 hours sections. Yay, 8 hours of wind waker! As to the vod question, I prefer them over livestreams because I pause a lot while watching stuff. Have tried watching livestreams on youtube/twitch, but I always end up trying to pause it when the adhd kicks in and just come back later for the vod or an edited video of the stream.

1:40:55 Back in middle school I listened along with the first 100% randomizer, all the way through, as I was playing Wind Waker and I tried to finish the game from the midpoint before you could start and end and I still lost. Throughout high school I would also watch VODs all day to keep me company. Now I have responsibilities and have to watch these in pieces but I still make it work!!!

Out of all your runs Linkus, my favorite run was back 2019 when you have the most luckiest 100 percent run with a time of 5:34:54 I believe. I still go back to and say. You asked about the Vod and how or why we watch it. I personally watch it mostly like 1-2 hours a day, while playing an other game and want to have some talking in the background. Sometimes I do a little nap and just want an relaxing voice in the background, it somehow its relaxing to hear someone talk and it feels like someone is with me at home.

In my master's program, I'm required to write.... a lot, so having stuff like this helps me focus and not get bored immediately. So yea, I watch it in parts. If I don't finish the VOD after finishing homework, I have it saved until the next time I gotta tackle homework

I break up the VOD in i way, because I watch/listen till it is done before starting a new video or VOD, but I watch while doing cooking, cleaning and other times in the day where it is nice to have a type of "activity or community" (because I am an extrovert) throughout the day. On top of all that, you making a VOD or stratgaming who does Bannerlord streams like this... you guys are just normal dudes, not full of government and funding propaganda, so it is enjoyable and genuine. Even if its not "exciting" at times, it is pleasant nearly the whole way through. So thanks for posting them brother.

For me, these are some of my very favorite videos on KZbin, albeit ones that I sadly can't really re-watch as I remember where key items are in each run and that kind of ruins a ton of the fun. But yes, I do watch the whole thing, in chunks of maybe a one or two hours, and I enjoy them like no other video. I'm really sad they're only a one-time joy for me, but maybe it would encourage you to know how highly valued they are to the point that I actually saved this one for three months after it was uploaded, but now I'm nearing the end and I don't know when I'll be able to enjoy one of these again.

i watched some of the stream live, but the reason i like an occasional vod like this is twofold. First: I treat it similar to a live stream, usually on the side, where i can go back 30 seconds when it sounds like something cool happened Second: I can just pause and walk away whenever i want without the fear that i'll miss half the run

Its why wish you had a VODs channel as would watch it easily.

Most often I will have long videos/podcasts on in the background while I play games so it comes down to WHEN I start listening to it; if I just woke up and start gaming and it is a day of the week none of my friends will be online due to work I will probably listen to it in one sitting. If I have already been awake and doing stuff most of the day, I might watch it until I get tired, go to sleep, then finish it when I wake up. Obviously though I get up to do basic living requirements, unless it is the third option I listed below here, then some of the time it really is just the entire 8 hours without getting up for anything other than the bathroom. The next most common option for me is that I put it on while I go to sleep, I have what I believe (based on comparing my experience to other people's stories) to be rather bad tinnitus so having noise in the background that I can also enjoy listening to helps when it is particularly bad. So technically one sitting and also depending on when I fall asleep and if I like the content of the video itself enough (prime example of this is Hotfix - Speedruns From the Crypt) I will begin watching/listening to the video again from roughly where the last thing I remember hearing was. Occasionally I either don't feel like doing anything OR I'm so rock-bottom depressed that I can't bring myself to do anything and can't enjoy doing anything; in those cases I will put on long videos like this to actually actively watch it. Videos over 4 hours is about a 50/50 split, half the time I will watch the entire 5+ hours straight. The other half it will be a large chunk of the video and then I'll just go back to sleep or go just sorta of "exist" for awhile and come back and finish it later or use it to fall asleep to. So largely, I watch/listen to the entire thing in "one sitting". Though there are random times where I will just stop watching in the middle of the video and go watch something else I felt the urge to watch (this is often me remembering one of the anime I am watching this season got a new episode that day or one of the several dozen manga I am reading got a chapter released) and then I will come back to the video after I have satisfied whatever drew me away.
