Anyway, GG for that run, truly a 100% with even Orca and Beatle with all charts and others. (Yeah, took me some times to view it this time because of a busy week). Also, for those wondering what's so bad about the Light Arrow being vanilla in randomizer is that like Gymnast said, items aren't "supposed" (statisticly wise) to be in their vanilla location. Now just imagine, you're in a race against someone on the same seed (lik the actual tournament being runned) and you HAVE to find the Light arrow to win the game... Just imagine that you're trying to hard to find that arrow when you're saying yourself "it can't possibly be in its vanilla chest right? RIGHT?" and so you waste a hella time trying to find the light arrow because taking the risk to go to Ganon Castle without the light arrow beforehand would be a huge loss of time in a race. Well, that logic applies to every dungeon needing an item: to complete Earth you try to have the shield first, to complete Dragon Roost, you try to find the hook first, so if the needed item is actually in its respective dungeon it's making you delay more and more the moment you decide to dive in that particular dungeon.

You don't even need to use any Leaf Pump trickery in that room with the Korok house. As long as you can break the vine closet to the grapple hook location the house will fall just enough to jump across to it with the leaf normally, they should really update the logic for that.

Personally, for health reasons, I think that any speedrun that takes (or is estimated to take) longer than 6 hours should allow turbo controllers to avoid people having to mash too much, with anything within 15 minutes of 6 hours favoring the runner over the rules. Reason being that carpal tunnel syndrome or "Wiitis" can cause speed-runners to easily become incapacitated long before they should be. The Japanese speed-running rules do allow for them on ANY timed speed run, and I think it would really help the community in the long term, because we aren't getting any younger are we? I just would hate to see you or anyone else have to retire early from speed-running due to health reasons... that's all. That being said, great run! I think it's awesome how they made some of these randomizers for the Gamecube Zelda WW. Vegeta, what does the scouter says about the number of bits Painless donated? ITS OVER 9000! What 9000?! There's no way that can be right! So say I, Tifas-Revenge of Lorule.

In zelda link to the past, very few runners are able to "levitate" across pits, with Andy being one of them. while that is a niche to be proud of, its also damaging long term to the individuals in question.

Had the worst seed to do 100% on the other day: Hero Sword at Zunari Auction -> Master Sword at Submarine Cresent Island (opens all chests prior to new items [Bombs/Leaf/Grapple]) -> Bombs at Angular Isles Chest (all other chests keys/'duds'/charts, -> Deku leaf at 4 eye octo (Requires bombs/boomerang/bow) -> Bow at Highest Rockspire Platform (Requires Deku leaf and means to kill enemies) -> Hookshot at Southern Fairy Island Platform (Requires Bombs and Deku Leaf) -> Acquires Gauntlets from Stonewatcher Platform -> Unlocks forbidden woods at Headstone -> Skull Hammer at Overlook (Requires Hookshot) -> Bait bag and Delivery Bag in quick succession at western/thorned fairy fountains (Requires Skull hammer) -> Head to forbidden woods. Only dungeon I can currently access beyond wind Temple, which can't progress due to iron boots requirements. -> Iron boots in Forbidden Woods chest in opening room. -> Complete Wind Temple, collect Fire/Ice Arrows from hidden chest via drop through all 5 broken floors. -> Fire/Ice Ring are largely duds/expansions. -> Use Ironboot/Skull hammer to smash open Gale Isle. -> Unlock Dragon Roost Cavern -> Bypass Grapple point using Deku lead to get chest across lava behind wooden planks = Grappling Hook. In order to unlock the remaining 49 items (many of which are heart pieces/containers) I had a 5 item long systematic lock out. With each item requiring the one prior in the chain. Grappling hook required Iron Boots and Skull Hammer. Skull Hammer required the hookshot. Iron Boots required the Gauntlets (which required the bombs) Hookshot required the Deku leaf Deku leaf required the bombs (as Bow was locked behind deku leaf, and Boomerang is still AWOL) With 44 treasures hauled, Earth, Wind, Forbidden Woods, Dragon Roost, and Forsaken Fortress cleared, and all islands and quests (Minus Rainbow bug for Lenzo and 60 Joy Pendants for Mrs. Marie - because lol, grapple hook lock out for well over 7 hours). I'm still missing the boomerang (and iirc 2 heart containers and 2 heart pieces as well as the 5 charts) and the final triforce segment and Wind Temple Master Sword Prayer. This has ran up to 11 hours elapsed (Mainly because a few of those items happened to be the last location checked for newly unlocked chests). It's so much fun, but christ there can be some really unforgiving seeds where it'll make you open almost every newly unlocked chest before granting you your next progression item, with many of them being locked in systematic chains.

I don’t know about the whole 1 in 1000 for vanilla light arrows. There are 3 progressive now items in like 256 items? I don’t remember exactly how many places items can be, but there’s 3 chances in a true randomizer that it could be in the light arrows chest. With logic, I’d actually assume it’s more common as at least one bow upgrade is restricted in its positioning as it can’t be behind a bow accessible item. I’m likely missing something but it still seems to me like it would be more common than 1/1000.

The first chart to the last chart would be the order of difficulty, with 1 having multiple Sr guardians, but they move at the pace link would if he was carrying a boulder/headstone/beeg pig.

It would be the eight islands link mostly went to throughout his adventure, and it would be cool to have the phantoms From phantom hourglass be used as the Sr guardians, where it would introduce one new phantom, the flight phantom, where it's arms are like wings, and to make this realm more fair, the Sr guardians would move very sluggish, but there would be more of them to make due.

i'm pretty sure it's a thing called save warping (i think..) basically when you save you warp out of an area to save time.

And the 8th triforce chart being the hardest, with there being two Sr guardians, one grounded one, and one winged one, but they would be *faster than link rolling, superswimming, anyway link can be fast, they'll be faster.* the silent realm if caught in waking water, or by sentry poes, which look like normal poes, but they can move in any direction, and *even through walls* if targeting link at the moment. The whole silent realm is all about stealth, and as the number of the triforce goes up, the more likely you will have to be stealthy when in the realm of silence. Comment your personal opinions on the matter, and I was just thinking this could be a *modded thing*, meaning if you want more of a challenge, you should include the mod. The maximum is two per pair, and difficulty level influences how many Sr guardians there will be. 16 guardians for the lowest difficulty, but they move slower than any way link can move slowly.
