Great video again! Love your style. As for not being able to clear the event maps, well, one of the reason is the lvl of your ships. I know max LB fleets are oil hogs, but you kinda need lvl 100 ships in the game at this point for a lot of things. And yes, gear is a big factor in fleet strength, getting gold gear and getting them to +10 can boost your girls dmg greatly. As for the event shop, i would say, yes, you chose the most important things, as for a new player, the gear boxes are quite important after the event exclusives and the blueprints. In the medal shop, and in general in the various shops, you should check out the ships, there are a lot that only available there, especially in the medal shop. As for the OPSi, the main purpose of that place is to farm materials for the gear lab. There are some extremely powerful gear only available there, anf you need a lot of materials to craft them. The same goes for the research tab in the lab, aside from blueprints, you can get gear parts from research, there are some, that only give you gear parts, and some that are copletely free to do. And congrats for your Belorussiya and (Arm)Pittsburgh. She and Fargo are the best supports for the best PR6 ship, Kearsarge.

@hoodini04 Thanks man! My ships just started hitting 100, so next events will be more accessible for me. Gear-wise, I have barely any gold items, but getting there! Also I mostly stick to +6 for now, since +10 is way too expensive for me XD. Oh yes, I am very aware of the medal shop, looking forward to San Diego from there, to kill all of the planes for me, I also got a Tosa from it to help me. Do you have a specific ship in mind? I feel like OpSi is decent for exp also, since no oil costs there. Also I ran into oil cost caps in this even as well as the current event map, I assume there is also a cap on campaign maps somewhere down the line, due to constant events I mostly neglected campaign XD. I am 605/1000 on Kearsarge, so almost able to start working on her. She got no secondary DD/cruiser gun slot, I guess she must go in with another BB to bust down TNT boats? Yes (Arm)Pittsburgh mmmmmmm.

@@WhileIHaveElectricity From the medal shop specifically, i would say Nagato, San Diego, Sirius and Amagi would be good choices. The only thing you should be careful about the older battleships is positioning, their barrages are often linear, for example Nagato must be in the flagship position to not loose dps. Yes, there is oil cost limits in story maps from chapter 9, and all in the events. Kearsarge is a BBV, an aviation battleship, she has AVI stat, and a fighter slot instead of a secondary weapon. You can actually test her out, there is a simulaion button on the left side on the development screen, below the skills. I also forgot to mention, that to guarantee a pity UR, you need 400 cubes. The counter on the UR event banners keep track on the pulls, bot the cubes, so i would advise to stick to the daily 1 light constuction until the JP server anniversary. Little side note: in commissions, the item on the far right (cube, quick finisher, skill book, etc), which you have a chance to get, the chance is dependent on the lvl of the commission, which is listed on the left side. So in practice, you can have 2 commissions, both have a chance for a cube, and both are 2 hours long, one is lvl1, the other is lvl40, the latter one has a higher chance to get you a cube.

Well, as far as anni events go, this was pretty good. We got 700 free gems, a free ring (dunno who's getting it yet will likely be whichever ship can help me finish ch 14), my queen died(:/), and the banner didnt eat too many of my cubes. Thinking of the event calendar(note this is only based off my time playing and maybe inaccurate) we might be getting the next UR event after zuiho. Problem is i dunno which faction its gonna be or who its gonna be (as i live in constant fear that its gonna be MO and i wont have enough to pity should rng be rng) NJ is pretty good a wasting mobs tho and Shimakaze is the current Torpedo queen(as mine has almost 1k torp stat but shes made of paper so shes in the middle to let the other 2 ships take most of the damage) The longer i watch the more i add to this comment. I still see those 3 bulins(one for each rarity) are still locked go unlock and sacrifice them for limit breaks theyre taking up space

@th3world3at3r9 Absolutely agree on the 700 gems! While I managed to get a few gems out of commissions - it was nowhere enough. Most importantly I managed to resist getting FdG skin XD. Next event is Japanese, so may be Yamato XD. For the pity I still think I'll get Shinano and for the TRP get Ayanami. Oh and yes - the three first bulins stay, even if URs start looking at them with hungry eyes!

Most of the UR Battleships don't need a full limit break to be strong. New Jersey and Alsace with only two limit breaks are already stronger then 90% of SR Battleships. They also don't need good equipment to be strong. 65% of New Jersey dmg output is from her Dragon's Breath skill. Same goes for Alsace and her Holy Judgement. Even with that terrible gun you have equipped on her she would still out dmg all of your other ships. Btw Research and META Ships also don't need to be limit broken to be leveled to 100+. And it's very good that you started with Operation Siren. The resources you get ther can be used to craft some of the best gear in the game. As for the META Ships, there are some that are very strong like Helena, Repulse or Hiryuu META but they are not the highest priority the other stuff you get from them is also nice (Skill books, Gold and Cog. Chips). The SR META Ships in general are strong (except Wichita META she is shit) so getting them is not a bad idea. As for the Elite ones Kasumi META is the only decent one, because of the buffs she gives. As for Augment Modules there are ships that need them more then others. Ships that really need them are: all starter ships except Ayanami, Hood and especially Kawakaze. Ships like San Diego or Graf Zeppelin don't need them to work. Augment Modules are very expensive so focus on ships like Hood, Kawakaze and Laffey first before you get them for other ships. You can ignore the Elite Modules for now. Ranger as a first retrofit is quite a good choice. It is one of the strongest Rare Retrofits. She will drop of in world 12-15. The main reason she is so strong is first her very dmg focused kit with two dive and one torpedo bomber and second the fact that retrofits have higher stats than ships in that rarity. As an example Warspite in her retrofit has better stats than most of the other UR Battleships. Warspite is still mid af and is a complete wast of resources, so don't use her. And one more thing: Building a Russian fleet is not that bad of an idea. Of all the smaller nations in AL Russia is probably the second strongest one.

I saw Alsace on top of DPS chart even without a gun XD, I also haven't used her till after I got Tosa, since I didn't read her skills and realise that her Judgement skill is cross-fleet. I started OpSi to not miss out of the META ship, I feel like it gave me decent EXP, so it wasn't a waste of time, I also looked into gear lab - the upgrade costs are steep, it will be a while before I can afford anything there. Feels like getting an elite item, like a helldiver, is easier from a map, but may be I am wrong. I used Foch META from the start (i didn't notice that massive oil cost) and she was very good for me, with a barrage that wiped the screen, don't think I used other METAs. I actually looked through the augment modules a bit and I did get myself a Kawakaze from medal shop, who is gaining levels. I am also looking forward to Laffey, Saratoga and Hood getting their upgrades. The elite augments seem useless aside from stats, I'd say crossbow box and dagger are the best in terms of passives. I am taking the floating casino Ranger to 15-4, hopefully she survives there XD. Also is China the strongest small nation? I got a couple of chinese ships, skills seemed decent.

@@WhileIHaveElectricity Alsace is a absolut Monster, she is probably the second best ship in the entire game. Some good elite gear is only accessible in the gear lab. Some ships want specific gear for skill and stuff. Some of that gear is easier to get from the gear lab. As an example brest wants a piece of French gear. Her own gun is quite bad and there is a good HE DD gun in the gear lab so it's a good option for her. Also if you upgrade a piece of gear you get a good chunk of the resources you invested in them back. Let's say you have a +10 MK6 and you upgrade it into the MK7 you get all of the plates and some gold back. Getting Kawakaze was a good idea. With her module she is almost as strong as Shimakaze. She is probably the strongest not UR DD. China is the weakest of the smaller factions, because they have no UR ship. The strongest are the french with 3 strong URs (Alsace, Mogador and Brest) and some good SRs (Richelieu, L'Audacieux, Flandre, Gascogne and Jeanne d'Arc) The second strongest are the Russians with also 3 URs (Soyuz, Kronshtadt, Nakhimov) and some strong SRs ( Tashkent, Chapayev, Tallin, Volga, Belorussiya and Chkalov) The third strongest are the Italians with only Napoli as an ur and a few good SRs (Marco Polo, Pola, Vittorio Veneto, Attilio Regolo) And the weakest the Chinese with no UR and only a handful of good SRs (Harbin, the 3 guided missile DDs, Yat sen and Human Ch'ang) The reason why I french is imo better for a pure faction fleet is because of Richelieu and Alsace. The Russians don't have a faction buffer that is as strong as Richelieu. On the other hand the Russians are overall stronger in mixed fleets.

@@Xelnage2006 Oh I get it now! Alsace buffs and Richelieu (whom I do have) buffs in flagship position. Mogador, haven't used her since I got her, but she's also the first UR I got, so I guess I'll have to XD. I see Nagato and Bismark do the buffing for their respective factions both come from medal box, Soyuz for Russian fleet is an event UR, so not getting that, Avrora is nice for vanguard dmg, but that's all I see. Oh and yes, I got Kawakaze after seeing that augment module effect, I'll swap her in, if I start lacking damage later.

@@WhileIHaveElectricity I wouldn't recommend using Mogador. She is the second worst UR ship. And because she is a Vanguard ship and a Destroyer she needs a full Limit brake to work. You're better off farming world 6-4 for Yuudachi. With her retrofit she is probably the third best DD in the game. For Mogador it's debatable if she is even better than Kawakaze and other strong SR DDs. UR bulins are very rare so wasting them on a ship like Mogador is imo not a good idea. Also one important thing you should know is that you don't need UR ships. You can clear all 15 worlds with only SR ships. Same goes for UR gear

@@Xelnage2006 Agree on both Mog and URs, Mog jumps onto enemies and takes big damage, not great. So far Laffey, Unicorn and L. Friedrich have been doing me well, I feel like with Laffey and Unicorn retrofits plus Laffey unique module she's never going to die, so I just need to fill one main and two vanguard spots - feeling Saratoga, Portland and Cleveland/Kawakaze/San Diego. Will probably stay alive nicely. Also want to try out Fletcher + Ausburne.

@@WhileIHaveElectricity Should have keept up with limit braking then you can just use the quick retire function + common ships should always be used for enhancing since the only thing you get from retiring them is like 2-3 coins

@@SheffyAL You are right! I still have some of the event ships not levelled, so there are quite a few dupes XD. Also, I didn't use most of the rare ships, so can't limit break em.

@@WhileIHaveElectricity You can use the a few xp books to at least get them to level 30 to get 2 limit breaks out for the ships you have dupes of and since max limit breaking ships gives Tech point i would do it for the long term benefits. + you can set quick retire to keep enough ships to max limit break. I don't know what you spending your gems on but if your gonna stay F2P your gonna regret spending them on alsaces skin. When you need to retire all the interesting ships.

@@SheffyAL That's true, but if I limit break like this - I will have to spend a lot of oil, if I level them the old-fashioned way. On the other hand am I really going to level all of the rare/epic ships to 120? Also I will 100% not regret buying that skin.
