That journey needs a 100-pound note coming in and a much lighter pocket coming out. Beers, food and train/boat fare all add up. The whole day was lovely from start to finish and the interior of the pubs is very pleasant. Good to catch the last boat back. Great choice of music starting at 13:58 where people are settling in on the boat.

Great video Geoff, used to live County Durham for 20 yrs, loved all the lake district but especially Windermere!! Lots of lovely pubs around there. Used sit watch people come off rowing boats, boats would wobble and people would fall back in boats, hysterical!!
