Windfoiling - It's Not All Plain Sailing

Windfoiling at Seacliff, South Australia in about 16 Knots.
Mark S following me on my Slingshot Wizard 114, Phantasm 730, 103W mast, 5m Banzai sail.
I was getting far too much lift on this filmed session with my foil mast set between 2&3 - you can probably see that. The very next day was almost identical conditions so I moved the foil mast back to between 1&2 and it was so stable it made a big difference.
I'm still learning how to gybe on port tack, and doing a bit of 'down-winding' -it's sooo mesmerising, exciting yet serene.
When Mark says 'let's go down wind' he means proper DOWN WIND hahaa, he just flows down to Brighton Jetty and back upwind in no time. Great fun!

That's a good way of putting it, "exciting yet serene". I'm amazed by the excellent conditions you have there!

Just started the foil adventure myself. The crashes are spectacular! Great video, love he audio on it.
