I just havent really gotten into multiplayer with any other mx game since Encore. I do feel like I could with this one tho. I like that you dont have to have the fastest lap to win. Feels easier to be average and still snag a victory once in while.

It's much more fun battling with collisions on bc it forces you to find and run new lines to make the pass which is more realistic as well! With collisions off it's more of a time trails then anything. Cool race though 🤙

I also prefer with collisions, but the problem is that some guys only want to crash in to you in corners or push you in the tuffblocks on whoopsections... Key is to be faster and get the hack out of their way 😁

Yeah, I havent been super big into multiplayer since MX vs ATV Encore. Used to play a lot of multiplayer there, especially for live streams. Would like to try and get into this one tho. I need a lot of practice on the console tho, it felt so different from PC.

stop wheeling through the woops, slow down earlier before the turns also stop pointing your front wheel down in the air, is better to hit with back wheel it slows you down when the front wheel hits the crest of the jump you are landing on

Well I got a little bit lucky at San Diego. I think just repetition is best. Running laps in time attack until you have it down stone cold. Knowing exactly what gear and how much preload to use.

For this I was just using the basic setup you start with. I bought the game and instantly jumped into multiplayer. I know some guys like to move all the settings to the farthest left. You could give that a go and see how it works.

I’d go Xbox I’m have both pc and a ps4 and there are way more players on console. The only time PC has a significant amount of players is right when it comes out because they fate really quickly and you become stuck with single player and I get super boring. So I’d say console for sure

There are definitely better players out there than me, but using manual transmission is easier to run faster and bigger lines. I like advanced physics, but I know a lot of fast players run the standard physics. Also, there is a trick to landing front wheel very low into jumps if you are about to case to gain a speed boost. Not realistic at all, but faster. I think I have a video in the Monster Energy Supercross 3 playlist talking about it. Other than that, just playing and finding a bike setup that works best for you. Also, I believe the KTM and Honda 450s are the fastest in the game.

idk what's up with the miles covered thing, i think they should kept the wins to podium ratio up, but then again ti would probably be similar to the KD ratio in fps games where a larger majority of players would quit races to keep a somewhat favorable ratio even though the numbers hold little purpose.

The overall control of the rider feels a little bit different. More twitchy is the best way to explain it. It could all very well be in my head, but it was way easier to over correct on PS4 than it feels on PC. I also didnt feel I lost as much momentum when over jumping. Again, could just be all in my head. The frame rate might have had a little to do with it as well.
