Merriam-Webster: courage : mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. I just found your wind hippie video series, awsome ! You are one courageous lady ! My father was in the pacific islands in world war II and I appreciate your respect of the native peoples and the research you did about the war before you posted it. You are showing what solo sailing truly requires and the details you present are important, it separates you from the “I want people to support my fun crowd”. I have about 34000 hours of motor vessel time and I respect what it takes to solo sail and document your journey and share it with us. Thank you and keep up what you are doing so well !

@Malediction9910 ай бұрын
You can still swim, Marovo lagoon is enormous and there are plenty of safe places to swim. The locals will let you know where. I'm Australian and Crocs here are no joke, but they are much rarer in the Solomon islands and more timid. Still not to be taken lightly and it took me a few days to be comfortable just jumping in the water, but it's well worth it. It's an astonishingly beautiful place.

Pity you got rid of your charts now that your phone doesn't know where it is. Sounds funny but a saline solution of fresh water with salt added (thus no tropical bacteria) is great for healing wounds quicker, cool splint.

Holly, huge respect and admiration for your skills and even more for your outlook and attitude. I've never waterproofed a tiller pilot, but many similar actuators on aircraft. Think: a piece of suitable bicycle inner tube (can be an otherwise blown out and useless one) and a couple of zip ties...
