Windmill's I built in 2013.-001

These are some of the wind mills I built I 2013. Some are made from redwood , the small one is made from all hard wood and the big one is made from exterior plywood each one has been balanced and turn into the wind

I will. I made an Elvis one last year and a KISS one the year before. It's a lot of work but fun when it works good in the wind.

can you explain how the blades are attached? Did you cut two round wooden disc and then notch them out to fit the blades. I built one but my blades will not turn.

Dandy Patrick. Nice to meet you. I like to make windmills too. I made a nice 16 blade one and set it up on a 10' wooden tower. It lasted one summer and blew apart. Gonna try your hub method next. I tried to use dowels but they were not strong enough for the size of the mill. Anyway, I like your video making style. I'm a new subscriber and Patrick fan now!
