It's the first time Becky has been to the most amazing Old Forge Hardware Company! There's a reason why they call this "The Adirondack's Most General Store"- they have EVERYTHING! This store is so impressive- once just a hardware store, now it has grown to encompass the entire block and has become a tourist attraction in itself! From novelty gifts to books to giant zip ties, this store has it all! Shop with us!

The store is one of the things I miss in Old Forge. I'm glad it has thrived over the years. I also miss the Knotty Pine Restaurant but that was a lifetime ago. Thank you for your videos as I may never get back to where I grew up now that everyone I have ever loved from there has passed on. Nice job!

I grew up here and it's really changed now. The Knotty Pine is now called the Nest. Almost all of the houses on Main Street are all shops and a good share of the houses have become Air BnB's. Young people can't afford houses here and most places are rented by the week or weekend.
