Some points that need to be considered are 1) Which tint plays better with polarized sun glasses...think carbon will have less rainbow effect than ceramic 2) What hue does each one appear at an angle ceramic tends to give a subtle green appearance where carbon has more of a subtle grayish hue

Hey, thank you for the video! I'm at a tint place right now waiting on my appointment and trying to make sure I made the right choice with carbon tint. I can't justify the cost of ceramic and it sounds like I don't need to worry about it after all. Ive had carbon on another vehicle for three years and it still looks great and dies a great job of blocking heat. Phenomenal really, so thanks for confirming my suspicions with the extra cost!

I agree with most of what you said, but the part about spending the $500 to protect your $60k investment. You only tint your car once so put the best film on a brand new car you wont regret it.
@Red5oh Жыл бұрын
That's a great point. Better quality tint would protect the interior better especially the leather seats. If you intend to own the car for years then it would be a great investment than just going with a tint that does not block our uv rays and gives only the look

Ceramic normally provides the matte finish. I am not sure if carbon has other types of film that would allow that.

well i thought it was the opposite, and I saw some article saying they they but like carbon particles in their tint which makes it more of a matte finish. @jetblackwindowtinting___2 жыл бұрын
Hello it all depends on the quality of the film. That “matte” look is called “low angle haze” which is a bit “milky” some people don’t like it on carbon or ceramic, so they look for a no low angle haze films either ceramic or carbon.
