Windows 10 Doesn’t Recognize Google Pixel 3,4 and 4 XL (FIXED)

I had recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 10. Since the upgrade, I am unable to connect my Android devices as MTP (or Portable Media Player) devices on Windows.
Quick Check for Android Phone Not Recognized on Windows 10 Problem follow this steps im doing on the video and you can fixit by itselfe

00:03 Connect your Nexus with your computer ➡ Click File transfer
00:11 Go to computer management ➡ right click to my pc icon ➡ manage
00:15 Chose Device Manager ➡ Portable device ➡ Nexus...
00:20 Right Click to ➡ Nexus Device ➡ Update Driver ➡
00:25 Chose MTP USB Device ➡ Install drivers
00:30 Enjoy
Following factors should be excluded first in order to find out the real cause and solution.
Use original USB cable and make sure the cable and port are intact.
Connect device to PC directly instead of via USB hub if possible.
Enable USB debugging might help with this problem.
Try it on another computer to make sure it is not the computer’s problem.
If the above factors can be excluded, please try solutions below.

I don't know if it is this way for everybody, but for me the video is so quick and blurry that it's hard to see what the person is clicking on and if they're right clicking or left clicking. Plus my computer didn't show exactly the same options. Here's what it was like on my computer: 1. Open "Windows Explorer" 2. Right click on "This PC" 3. Click "Manage" 4. On left side of screen, click "Device Manager" 5. Click, to expand, "Android Device" 6. Right-click "Google Nexus ADB interface" 7. Click "Update Driver" 8. Click "Browse my computer for drivers" 9. Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" 10. Select "MPT USB device" 11. Click "Next" Should say "Windows has successfully updated your drivers.

This didn't work for me, but it makes sense. In my case, I think in trying every last thing under the sun I had DL and installed Acer Android ADB Interface. No idea why! So the pixel 3 would show up in the taskbar but NEVER win explorer. once I uninstalled Acer Android ADB Interface from device manager, win once again properly recognized my pixel!

Hope this helps someone since I had exactly this problem and figured it out after several hours. Do everything he does in this video until you have the file explorer to choose an INF-file. Then navigate to C:\Windows\INF\winusb.inf and choose Standard-MTP-Device on the left side and then MTP USB Device on the right side.

I can only get so far, when I click on portable devices I get F:\,G:\,H:\,I:\ and no Nexus 5X. Since the video clicks on the Nexus 5X I am stuck. I have a Pixel 3A XL and this problem is driving me crazy!

Did you try to change USB port? Make sure to enable hotspot also on the phone , and usb tethering on the mobile should be on, what smartphone model do you have?

I have a Pixel 3 and this work didn't fix, but I found out the solution in Developer Mode on the phone. For those who don't know how to enable Developer Mode, go into your Settings > About > Scroll down to 'Build number' and click on it 5 times -- you should see a message saying "you are now a developer". Now you can go back to Settings > System > Developer Options > Then scroll to an option that says "Default USB Configuration"... When you click this it will give you a list of options for the phone once it's connected to a computer via USB, including "Media/file transfer". By selecting this option you should now be able to view your files on PC.
