Windows 10 Start Screen | Patching & Installing Yourself

This video is a basic tutorial on how to patch two DLLs in Windows 10's System32 folder to bring back the Windows 8 Start Screen. This patch is pretty easy to do, even with someone who hasn't used IDA (the patching program used in this video) before.
For IDA:

shit i forgot to add the chapters -- 8:00. you can uninstall the patch by swapping out the patched DLLs for Windows' regular DLLs (if you saved them). if you need help with the commands to use, I can send those over

i meeeeeean, respectfully - if one were to enable Win10's native "Full Screen start menu" & changed their wallpaper to match yours - what would be different?

before i say this; i'm a pretty big Windows 8 fan for no reason whatever. i think Windows 10's Full Screen Start Menu is okay? it gets the job done but just doesn't have that same feel as Windows 8. that's just my opinion. same key differences I think are: - Windows 10 only adds a transparent color than using the cool designs that Windows 8 had. - group titles are smaller - the all apps part just doesn't feel right on Windows 10. especially all the other buttons too just pushed into the bottom corner

I followed the same method but strangely the contents of the DLL on my PC do not seem to match, no reference found, and if I compare the contents at the same address as on your video I have a totally different result.
