Will use this pinned comment for any updates between the upload date and the release date of the update. Please leave feedback/criticism, if you have any, in a constructive manner instead of toxic comments (which will be removed.) August 27th: Update is now available! Build 22631.4112. All the features in this video are present + some Widgets changes in the EEA, a classic case of MS not testing features in Release Preview before releasing the update.

What is also worth mentioning about File Explorer: For example, you can ‘duplicate’ a tab by right-clicking on it and selecting ‘duplicate’. You can also drag and drop tabs into an open Explorer to merge two Explorer windows into one, or drag a tab onto the screen to open it separately.

Duplicate tabs in File Explorer started shipping last month for 23H2 (I covered this in my video), Copilot+ PCs on version 24H2 get it this month. Drag and drop has been in since September 2023 and I have a video on that as well (though tbf its quality isn't great because everything is tiny). Thanks for bringing this up though, might help some users who don't know about this functionality.

So this isn't 24H2 but includes a lot of the features of 24H2? I am downloading now, thanks

Did Copilot became a standalone app? I just got an update yesterday, and the Windows + C shortcut no longer working for Copilot, also there is no more Copilot (preview) in the taskbar settings ?
@phantomofearth12 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's been slowly rolling out since June.

It's going to be on 24/7 making snapshots of your PC and send it to them. Which is illegal btw in Europe because of the privacy ruling.
@phantomofearth12 ай бұрын
@@LadyRiderc That's Recall, not regular Copilot. It'll be an opt in experience, so if you choose not to save snapshots, it won't be enabled. Also, based on the latest preview builds, Recall will be an optional feature - turning it off in the optional features UI will remove its files from the main SystemApps folder which stops it from working entirely. Besides, most existing PCs won't get it unless you go out of your way to bypass hardware requirements (see: AmperageKit). You'll need a new Copilot+ PC. (Glad they're listening to feedback here.)

2:26 do you know why I got that yesterday but today it's gone, and I only have the library button.

Weird gradual rollouts, someone else had the same thing happen. Should come back after some time, unfortunately how long it'll take isn't clear and I don't believe there's a way to force enable it.

how can I get this latest build??
@phantomofearth12 ай бұрын
@@KunalRoy044 You can get it now by enrolling in the Insider Release Preview Channel. If you don't want to join the Insider Program then you can wait until next week and the update should be out then.

if for beta tester this not released yet and they removed the Clock feature with the Calaender please Stop treating the Beta version as the released.
@phantomofearth12 ай бұрын
This is not for the Beta Channel. It's for Release Preview which is why I treat it as if it's out already - it's pretty much almost there. I will consider changing the approach to make it clear for the early viewers that the update isn't out yet. Also, what "clock feature with the calendar" are you referring to? Whatever it is, it isn't something coming to stable this month.
