@@iliaanathema Windows 11 by default is set for UEFI which requires a GPT Disk. However, you can select Legacy Bios (MBR) in Rufus, or Ventoy Bootable pendrive - - and that can be installed on a MBR Disk. For this, the BIOS mode should also be selected as: Legacy BIOS. However, I don't yet know if this will work on 24H2 or not. Not tried yet. Since Windows 11 comes in 64bit only, means there's no 32bit, GPT is default. Also, it requires secure boot and TPM by default, these are UEFI exclusive options. So, UEFI. But there are workarounds to bypass such requirements. Also, MBR has several limitations. One of those is, limited primary partition numbers. MBR only support 4 primary partitions, and then logical only. If you have two logical partitions under a primary partition - and you need to delete one logical partition - - - both logical partitions get deleted, and data is lost. Another issue is, to boot from a disk which is 2TB or larger - you must have to use GPT. MBR disks cannot be booted if the drive is 2tb.

Haa karega. Ye bas automatic BitLocker encryption off karta hai. Baad me manually kiya jayega. But BitLocker is a nightmare bro... Kabhi bhi Windows 11 kisi update ke wajah se bootloop me fasa, ye kuch bhi hua,... Boot recovery karna jo 2 minutes ka kaam hota hai, wohi 2 hours ya zyada lagega.. Phir bhi hone ka guarantee nahi... Aur agar BitLocker encryption key kho gaya... Bas.. Saare files khatam...
