Today I am going to show you another batch of hidden features and undocumented functionality Microsoft kept in Windows 11! I shared all of my findings on my Twitter (@endermanch) prior to the video release, but since many of you do not use Twitter (keep going strong like this!) I felt obligated to make a sequel to the original OOBE code review video showcasing everything else I found.

if you press windows 5 times on the setup screen, you would get the "work or school" setup page. i actually do use it a lot while working for my school's IT to install configuration profiles while also allowing the student themselves to set up the machine.

I love how windows just doesn't use their UI frameworks anymore. They straight up use React / React Native. since they know they can't stabilize an UI framework without deprecating it within 3 years lol

The zoom in happens because OOBE is a web application, but I didn't knew about the Windows Autopilot for OEMs! And i also knew about the ms-cxh protocol, because you can run OOBE in windowed mode by using it. Interesting video!

Okay so I originally wrote this before finishing the video. That kids is why you only comment after the video is done. [Comment before Finishing Video] At 5:25, my best guess would be “InTune Hello Enterprise Next-Generation Cryptography Only,” as MS refers to Windows Hello as NGC.

I remember having to use one of those ms-cxh comments at work. Our laptops had a fucked user policy which didn't allow us to set up Microsoft hello, which we needed for bitlocker and for other sensitive applications, like the VPN app. Using one of those InTune commands would let us set up Microsoft hello, bypassing the restricted settings app

I'm very curious how you're opening the command prompt from the OOBE. Is there like a keyboard shortcut for it? Do you have to manually configure something to have a keyboard shortcut or is it already there

​@SpringySpring04 it only works during OOBE, and that is if it isn't running in S mode. Fun fact: you can also use win + R, which brings the "run" command. From there, you can run "taskmgr" and create either "cmd" or "conhost" tasks. (you can also do the same in the "run" window) If it gives you one of those windows "smartscreens" saying that it cannot run "cmd", then that's how you know it's in S mode.

I tried these commands on windows 10 (1809), some have similar result as windows 11 (with 10 ui) but some just crash while opening Microsoft account window.

...With the Windows 10 UI because 11 is just the prettier Windows 10. Just look at the settings from 11 and then at the defender settings from 11... One is completely redesigned. The other is just completely recycled from Windows 10.

enderman, i just learned on my computer, that if you delete a user's folder but not the user itself, it will just make an almost infinite loading screen which can end, and let you into the system with a broken start menu

Yeah... I guess Windows tries to restore some things because it notices that something has gone wrong. But the broken start menu makes sense, since start menu items are stored in the user folder (most of the items at least)

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but I didn’t experienced these issues before, and also maybe I will experience these issues if i reinstall windows, so for this time, I will NOT reinstall Windows 11, I will only reinstall Windows 11 when these issues are fixed and I have issues using windows 11 or the operating system is broken, and also, I use a Microsoft account, because it recovers my data if I reinstall windows, and I use Microsoft Edge because it syncs your browser history every time need to reinstall windows, and also, I have been watching your channel for a while now, and I still like it because you edit your videos really well.

...Firefox also syncs your data with an account. Chrome does as well with your Google account. Anyways... The issues in the video were self-induced. You're not even going to get a command prompt, since you'd have to open it by yourself. And since you're obviously a kid... I doubt that you even know how to open it in the OOBE. And these "issues" will never be fixed. They've been there since Windows 10. Which would mean that you can NEVER reinstall Windows.

I remember when I had my Windows 10 before installing Windows 11. So, I already found a bug that crashed into the black screen in Windows 11 when I played the game on the internet. I was not too fond of Windows 11 due to failure. I have re-installed back into my Windows 10. It was nearly 3 years ago. ;-;
