Yeah, it's because I didn't install VMware Tools. Without VMware Tools, Windows 98 only supports 16 colors.

Yes, I installed it on a virtual hard disk, which was located on a HDD drive.

Actualmente tengo 22 años uso Windows 8.1 (no me gustó 10) lo que me llamó la atención es Windows 11 se ve moderno y bonito (a veces es complicado usar debido a nuevas funciones que trae esta versión) Un saludo cordial desde Guatemala.

@@PolarBlassGT I personally prefer Windows 10 over Windows 8.1, primarily because of its Metro design. I use Windows 11 on my primary computer, however, if I would, I would use Windows 7! Personalmente, prefiero Windows 10 a Windows 8.1, principalmente por su diseño Metro. Uso Windows 11 en mi computadora principal, sin embargo, si lo hiciera, ¡usaría Windows 7!

It says time lapse 200X. ? I read that as you sped up the video 200 times. But it lasted over 4 minutes. I did the calculations and that means that the Windows 11 installation took 14 1/3 hours. Something tells me that's not right. But yes, even adjusting for modern machines being a lot faster than early 90s, I believe that Windows installation takes longer and longer over time.

Hmm? I installed it on a plain hard drive. I didn't upgrade; I clean installed for all of the versions.

This will be tricky, as... 1) It is difficult enough installing beta builds. 😁 2) The video would be more than 2 hours long, even if it was sped up. 3) It would take a month to make the video, which would mean no videos for a month. I am not critizing your suggestion, but just saying that it is hard for me to accomplish it.

What is Windows 1.04? And how do you get it?

Windows 1.04 is the first official Windows OS; the latest of the Windows 1.x family. You can only install it on MS-DOS using floppies. There are lots of websites that I use to get these, such as archive.org and winworldpc.com (both not sponsored).

Yeah, unfortunately the setup was way too slow (tried for 3 hours [no exaggeration] before giving up). Still finding out the issue...
