What is the difference between adding the rdp app in remote app vs. adding collection for session hosts? When creating the collections i did not see you choose remote desktop as resource. When you create manually the collections does it automatically choose remote desktop?

Hey, i am deploying the same enviroment with one CB and 2 SH. After everything was successful i was asking myself why there was no option to install a SQL Server or atleast a SQL Express Server to bind it into the RDS enviroment. I would appreciate it alot if u can answer my question becuase i am currently workin on a project where i thought the SQL Installation or binding is a part of the RDS enviroment.

Hi Vikas, im getting the following error when installing the remote desktop service on my virtual Machine. unable to install the role services.ArgumentNotValid:The role, role service or feature name is not valid.'rds-connection-broker'.The name was not found. then the session collection and RemoteApp Programs are cancelled. have retried installing so many times and still failing at the same stage.Where am i getting it wrong.

You need to enable RD Gateway and add SSL Certificate to RD Gateway server
