Hi, does bare metal backup restore 3rd party applications too? Let's say you have Adobe Photoshop, would that be back as well, together with it's settings?

I want to take backup of some folders that are on LAN. How to specify their path in backup?

Hi Rmavtar, unfortunately this type of back up will not back up network drives. for that you need to create a separate back up job and back them up separately.

One warning. This is not a system backup - it is a system state backup. If you destroy the system disk(s), it will be difficult to rebuild it using the system.

I don't think so, It is a complete backup. If you look into the 5:14 minute clip i see the list including C: drive and also system state. Please correct me if i misunderstood that clip

I spent 4 days (two weekends) trying to restore the system from the backup I created. Check for yourself - create a backup. Remove the old disk and insert a new one (in my case, this was the goal - replacing the disk from 1TB to 2TB). Restore the system. Easy? Maybe, but not for me. I couldn't do it and used an external disk cloning program. The problem is that if my disk failed, I wouldn't be able to restore it from this system anyway - now I have a saved image and it should be possible to restore the system state from this backup.
