for those who still dont work , you still need to do the same with one more service , this one , it helped me : What I did: win + R, regedit, enter navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DoSvc changed Start value to 3 restarted win + r, services.msc, enter right clicked Delivery Optimization, Start, service indicates Running status Canceled pending installations in Xbox app Searched for game pass game i wanted, clicked Install Install working no problems. if you cant change the value to 3 repeat the process of giving permisions just like you did before and it will work

Hey i think it's service doesn't exist error. Go to start type services.msc and open it. Then find Background Intelligent Transfer Service, double click, if the startup status is stopped click start and then ok. Repeat the same for Windows update and Workstation. And close the services and try again to install updates. I will doing a video on the same.

Hello, I don't understand this step 5:00 . My PC is in french but if I translate I don't have "User" so I try to add it but it says that no object have been found. Hey just check out what's displayed in the owner part in advanced security setting. Also when you click add, you can check if the username you provided is valid or not by clicking the check button. So look for what's displayed as owner. And let me know the rest. If you have discord then you can ss it to me

Did you checked the services window. If not, type services.msc on the search bar and open it. It will open the list of services running and not running. Look for windows update service in it. Double click and open it. Look whether it's shown running or not. If not try to run it manually. If the method doesn't work restart and try again once more time. Even this time too it shows error connect with me on discord. Ss me what it's showing error then

Do you mean there is an system account named users present instead of USER account. Then select it. The name can differ

Check the selected object types and locations for accuracy and ensure that you have typed the object name correctly, or remove this object from this selection.

I think your user account is not named as User. It may be of another name. Try using that name. It can be the name that will show you when logging into your system. If it doesn't work let me know

It might be because the update service maybe disabled in the services manager. Go and check it out. If the update service status is disabled, enable it. Let me know it it doesn't work
