So excited for my birthday in just over 3 weeks because I'm getting the red Mozo flip cover as a gift. Ordering my Lumia 950 XL next week so new phone + awesome cover = very happy me!

I preordered the 950XL hopefully to pick up this weekend- nice that MS is throwing in the docking station- for a limited time. Nice that MS designed the phone- unlike Apple or even now with Samsung- so you can customize the look. The brown leather is especially appealing to me.

I use the g4 phone with the leather back.. And trust me.. It feels premium.. Now i am all the way in to replace my lumia 930 to get the 950xl with that one good looking leather cover

950 and 950 XL went from meh to f**king awesome! This removable cases/shells make it way better than any iPhone or android premium phone that you can only ADD a case to, not replace.

Not a fan at all of the leather. It may be premium in a Jaguar but not a flagship piece of tech. Hopefully the other materials will come out soon

My main issue is that Lumia 950 XL has 5 holes for microphones on the back, while the Mozo cover has only 1. Does anyone know whether the recorder quality will suffer because of this?

Sargon There are 5 holes on the top, but the microphone is placed only one hole. So, the sound recording quality is not effected.

Can anybody test to see if there is a squeaking noise when pressing the lower part of the phone? I have had 2 950xl's that both have this issue. I was wondering if these cases also help prevent the squeaking noise problem that is prevalent with the original 950xl back covers.

Anyone own one for the XL, issue I hate is the mics on the 950 xl pick up any little movement from my hands, its made worse by the back been so....well poor, and great at transferring noise to the mics. I was wondering if this back makes a big difference, the construction reduces movement sound. Thanks

I miss the old Nokia design. The 950 and the 950 XL are for sure nice smartphones but the designs are crap. For example this huge metallic ring around the camera on the 950. The 930 was such a nice designed smartphone. The new high priced lumias aren't as cool as the 1020, 1520 or 930. What happend to all the colours?

Richard D Probably plastic because of antennas. If you look at Lumias with actual metal frames, they all have antenna cutouts. The antennas on these phones probably weren't designed for that to be possible to do. Besides, how would you go about prying a rigid metal cover on/off the phone?

Richard D There's a reason removable covers are almost never made out of metal. If it gets bent out of shape then it won't fit properly. That's why you never see metal removable backs and probably never will.
