We at the Honda dealership just have a separate back glass to shrink film on. Much easier and you get no fingers that pop up at all on the installation phase 👌 comes out perfect every time

It worth to have one?

Ham Anuphap yes it is if you are getting a lot of civic hatchbacks to tint or type r it basically pays for itself and no worries of taking things apart or breaking anything if not careful.

Yep, cost about $60-$80 for an aftermarket rear hatch glass from a automobile glass shop.

Thanks for sharing the process ! What a pain in the a ! By the time it takes to pull it apart I would have tinted a whole car , if I decide to tint a civic they will pay 💰

Is that rear panel with trunk release and emblem just installed with clips or is the screws that also hold it in place? Looks like in video it's just on by clips.

Love your videos , just 1 thing I would recommend. Don’t say drivers side when your talking about what side of the car something is on because people watch your videos from all over the world and the drivers side is different in different countries, just say left or right side

I know this is an older post, but I am honestly surprised that as accomplished as you are, you don't cover door panels or weed the film after you shrink it. I'm a hand cutter, but I've used plotters many times. It's so much easier to shrink the film and then remove the excess film to expose the liner. I'm not trying to insult you in any way, I'm just curious as to why you don't do that. Anyway, I enjoy your videos. I too am a bottom loader and panel/gasket puller. I think if more tinters realized how easy it really is to pull gaskets they would do it.

What if you snap shrink it on a peel board and touch up after it’s on the window so you don’t have to take everything apart?
@WindowTintWarriors4 жыл бұрын
Its too much tension. Tried that. To put it in perspective, imagine trying to snap shrink a VW Beetle rear window on a peel board and then try to install it 🤣
