Thank you so much for this biblical perspective. I believe this will help us to press together and become one in Christ. At times we are zealous like Peter but don’t know our own hearts. Now is the time to reflect on our own hearts and allow God to work revival and reformation in our own lives. And to pray for our church.

The quote you are discussing, the “great cathedral,” is best understood in the context of the entire letter. I would encourage all to read the whole letter before trying to interpret this quote.

If we continue to start new organizations, we will likely continue to have apostacy. In the final days, a new organization is not the answer to the apostacy, the shaking is. That is, shake them out, even if fifty is left. Those fifty with greater power than that which fell on the day of Pentecost, will reach present known world.
@thierrynkubito6846Күн бұрын
There was a movement separate from the organized body during the time of the Pentecost and those are the ones who did the work the jews had neglected. Same as today, the adventist leaders have disregarded the testimonies and want to run the church as they please. Well God will not be mocked. He will by pass them.

The SDA Church is the new organization. Those that remain in it are those who are being shaken out.

Even Christ, who was the Son of God, subjected Himself to a home organization that lost sight of Jesus for three days; implied that Jesus was in the wrong, and the cause of their distress!

The imperfect home organization that Jesus subjected Himself to, He was a continual blessing!

If you want to preach about Laodicea, then give the Laodicean message! If you do, you will be ousted. If you are not ousted, then you are not giving the Laodicean message. The shaking is happening, and those that are being shaken out are remaining in the apostate SDA Church.
@StraightTestimony8821 сағат бұрын
May I ask, what is your epistemological grounding for the notion that delivering the Laodicean message inevitably leads to removal from one’s position? I would like to understand _how_ you arrived at that conclusion. On what basis do you assert that the test of whether one is preaching the Laodicean message is contingent upon being ousted? Additionally, could you please clarify your claim that those being “shaken out” are actually the ones who _remain_ in the SDA Church?
@BrightBeamsMission4 сағат бұрын
@@StraightTestimony88 It's pretty simple. Whenever there has been a controversy, those who stand for the right are in the minority remain and reorganize, because darkness hates light and does not want its sins exposed. That has been happening in Adventism ever since WWI, and it has happened repeatedly in the pre-Adventist past, all the way back to Judah.

I think it was super clear. Very thankful for them addressing and clarifying the words of Ellen White & that she does not support self-supporting churches. She does support self-supporting ministries. I think in many cases it’s hard for people to hear it, because sadly they are listening to the ministers of those self-supporting churches. I’m not saying you, but many are listening to these independent ministers who twist the messenger’s counsel.
