I could never have joined any Irish or Scottish regiment. I can't stand the bagpipes, personally. I made sure I joined a good old English regiment... 😂

You better watch what you say re the Scottish and Irish on Lenny’s stream. The English regiments play Scottish tunes also, love when they play “I belong to Glasgow” brings shivers down my back och aye the noo.

Only disappointment with the pipes of the Irish guards is they play the same dirge over and over there seems to be an extremely limited repertoire.

Company marches on way up and skin set on way down can't change the tradition , also the Irish guards pipes have been on troop , beat and retreat, and the edinburgh tattoo just this year and done other jobs in between
