This is hands down the best--by far--review of the Chrysler Pacifica I have ever seen. This is the most thorough and detailed explanation of this minivan. You should probably start doing reviews of cars in your spare time. Please give us an update on this van in the future. I hope it is reliable. Good luck with your van.

Wow! Then you probably have a good idea of the quality of the product. They are relative expensive but It seems to me they are a quality built product with a excellent ride and a quiet cabin. I can vouch for the quietness of the Pacifica. I recently sat out a violent hail storm inside my Pacifica, which was parked inside my garage. My garage has a metal roof. Inside my Pacifica, with the windows rolled up, I couldn’t hear the hail hitting the metal roof of the garage!

Thanks for the comment. Glad to hear you got that many miles on your vehicle without any issues. Hopefully I can look forward to that on this vehicle. I thought about buying used but change my mind. And I paid a big price for buying new instead of used. But I love this van also. Just got back from a 1500 mile 1300 mile trip into Montana. Speed limit 80 miles an hour on the freeway clocked in at 25.6 miles per gallon. Very happy that nine speed transmission is what gives it to feel economy.

@@rogerwilliams4428 thanks for the comment. I have had the car now for over a year and 4 months. It’s been a great car. No issues at this point. I have 23,600 miles on it. Really love the ride so smooth. Everything is quality from my point of view. I just saw a KZbin video. Chrysler Pacifica are not selling right now and are piling up on the dealers lot. So it is a great time to buy in December. The reason they’re not selling is because they are priced high and interest rates are outrageous so they’re having a hard time selling them. December is the best time to buy because dealers want to clear these cars off their lot so you will probably start seeing dealer discount and manufacturers incentives to get them moving. I hope you get the one you really want a very good price. I’m thinking four or $5000 off the MSRP maybe even more.

Great and detailed video. Been driving a 2021 pacifica and i can say its a great car. It shocked me when a twin mattress fitted in the van effortlessly without obscuring the rear view or squeezing the driver's seat. Thank you for the comment. I left a few other things out. After I got done with the video and posted it I realize I forgot about three or four other things. And the key was one of them. It’s a great car I just did a 1300 mile touring trip. It was fantastic. I used it for loading buckets of gravel at the local landscaping business. Hauled big cabinets down to the local Union Gospel Mission store. It is a versatile van that rides better than a Cadillac and get pretty darn good fuel economy with the nine speed transmission.

What a great video! I just bought the same car in black, but I did add the theater package because I wanted those video screens in the back, the power folding seats, and that awesome vacuum. I watched the whole video because I’m still trying to figure out all of the buttons! I looked at cars for six months and I was getting extremely frustrated with everything I looked at. I test drove so many and spent hours researching. I was originally looking at three-row SUVs, but not only are they super expensive, but they also don’t offer the features and versatility of the Pacifica. My kids are older - I did not need a minivan. But, it’s so roomy and comfortable for driving them around, their friends, big sport bags, taking the dogs to the vet, road trips, etc. That Stow and Go is a game changer!! The driver’s seat is so comfortable and gives you great visibility of the road. It’s the perfect height. I agree - there is something about the steering wheel that just elevates the car. I know Chrysler spent a ton of money developing and designing this car and it shows. Every single detail is well-thought out. That panoramic roof is awesome too. One of the best parts of buying this car is not only am I thrilled with my purchase, but I also got a great deal on the car. Most car brands like Honda, Toyota, and Kia are adding ridiculous dealer mark-ups to their cars. I was not willing to pay $3,000 - $7,000 in market adjustment fees. When I called the dealership, I asked if they had any incentives going on. They did, so I got the car almost $3,000 off MSRP. They were also extremely pleasant to deal with. Great video - you really went through everything!
@windsurfed1
@windsurfed1 Жыл бұрын
You are saying everything I thought about this van myself. I have been looking at them for two years. The steering wheel is something that makes it feel quality. The sto and go seats are totally unique and awesome. We probably chose to buy them at the right time because of the dealer discounts and the selection was getting more picky. I’ll like you spent a lot of time looking within a 500 mile radius of my home for the right vehicle. As you know, the Pacifica has much more comfort than other SUVs. I was getting tired of back doors. I wanted the sliding side doors to easily get in and out. I wanted the vacuum, but it did not come on this vehicle. Glad to hear you’re saying it is great. And you were right. The visibility from the drivers point of view is fantastic. And I totally agree with you. The comfort of sitting in the driver seat is really good. It is roomy, rides super quiet and smooth going over rough roads. I wanted the Tri pane sunroofs, but the 23 models don’t have Tri panes only have dual pane’s now, but am still thrilled. I am super happy and excited to have this vehicle. I believe the newer minivans are way better than any SUV for the comfort, the ride, and the quietness. There was still a few things I left out because the video was getting too long. 50 minutes is a long time for somebody to sit down and watch. But for Pacifica owners, I think they will enjoy it. I’m glad we bought them early in the year so we can enjoy them all summer long.

I don’t think in my country I would buy another front wheel drive for the area I live in. If you didn’t have to worry about snow, I probably would have went with a front wheel drive. @@xity93 those are the drivers memory seat adjustments. For instance, I have my own fob. When I walk up to the car and open, the door and seat automatically moves to my fixed position that I like for the driver seat. I said it previously by adjusting the seat to my comfortable position and pushing the S1 button. That links it to my fob and my wife can do the same thing with her and setting her drivers seat position by pressing S2. You will absolutely love the new Pacifica Limited! It's an awesome minivan that doesn't feel like a minivan. I feel like the Pacifica is super underrated because everyone thinks they need to drive a giant SUV!! I looked at cars for MONTHS and I couldn't find anything that matched the versatility and comfort that the Pacifica offers. The infotainment system is awesome -- it's so clear and easy to use. Definitely add the Safety Sphere because it makes backing up /pulling into a garage much easier. The ride is smooth, quiet, and it handles great. The turning radius is better than my BMW was. There are USB ports all over the place which is so useful if you have kids -- no fighting over charging a device. That Stow N Go feature is what really sets the car apart from the other minivans. I just took my kids on a road trip to the beach. I folded the second row captains' chairs down, and they sat in the third row so they could recline and really stretch out. I even had room for our Ragdoll cat to chill in the center section. That trunk is so deep -- there is just tons of room everywhere and all sorts of little details that make it such a great car. I also get great gas mileage -- usually around 22 MPG driving around town, plus it doesn't need premium gas. June / July is a good time to buy it -- there are lots of dealer incentives right now putting it under MSRP.

@@elizabethstewart552 you are totally right. This is the most underrated vehicle in the history of vehicles. If people just knew the quality of the ride and the room it has, and the quietness in the cabin, they would be flying off the shelf, but there is a stigma about owning a Minivan. I agree with you, SUVs don’t even come close to the room, and the comfort and quietness. I think that is going to change because these things ride better than a Cadillac and are so quiet. I just got back from a 1300 mile road trip and I got 33 miles to the gallon high and 27 miles to the gallon low. I am so happy with this vehicle that I want to scream to the world. This is the best vehicle ever made. I have all wheel drive and I’m getting about 18-20 mph in town. I rented one two years ago and that got me on the road to getting this one. They should not be called minivans anymore because they are much more.

And can run on electric power for 32 miles. What is your combined fuel consumption so far? I am not sure it is worth to buy hybrid one that is almost $8000 more than gasoline version. My window sticker say I am suppose to get 17 mpg in town and 25 mpg on the highway. I am currently getting 18 mpg in town. and at 55-65 mph I am getting 27+ mpg. One time It hit 33 mpg. December is the best time of year to buy a vehicle, preferably after Christmas. That’s when dealerships offer huge discounts and the manufacturer offers incentives. Looking into getting the Pacifica when we do upgrade but have concerns about some of the transmission issues some people have complained about. Have you had any problems with your van at all? Oh, by the way, love your choice of music.
@windsurfed1

I did extensive research on these Pacifica’s. From 2017 - to 2020. They had a lot of electrical issues. 2021 they had almost all of them cleared up. By 2022 very little issues and 2023 I was hoping that they would have them all cleared up. And so far I have 18,000 miles on mine with absolutely no issues. I owned 2019 Nissan rogue and the cruise control & transmission is smooth as silk. Not so with the Pacifica. It’s always shifting up or down on up and downhill terrain It was annoying at first, but I’ve gotten used to it and I don’t mind it at all now! Compared to other cars, the transmission could be annoying to some people but, like I say, I have gotten used to it and I don’t mind it at all. You just go with the flow. The Pacifica rides on the clouds, drives like a dream and is very quiet. I have the all wheel drive and I have had it in the snow because we need all wheel drive in my part of the country and it beats the heck out of putting snow tires on. In town I’m getting about 18 miles per gallon and on the highway depending on terrain and wind conditions. I have range from 25 to 30 miles per gallon extremely happy with the fuel economy. By the way, you probably already know this, but they are not minivans. They are full-size vehicles with awesome amount of room. Especially storage underneath the stow and go seats.
@windsurfed1
@windsurfed1 6 ай бұрын
Also, something to think is that some of the higher and minivans do not come with a spare tire. They have alternative options for you if you get a flat tire. I have had only three flat tires in my entire life. I believe starting in 2022 they did not offer a spare tire on any of the trim levels. However, I did buy a spare tire kit and install it in my 2023 Pacifica. There is a big controversy over running a spare tire on all-wheel-drive vehicles that is not the same size. Anyway, this is all stuff to contemplate.

wonderful video. The 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Walter P. Series had many of the same features as this 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Limited model on the interior. Of course, this 2023 model has a 9-speed transmission and is AWD whereas the 2010 model is only front wheel drive. This 2023 Pacifica Limited 'Noise Cancelling' feature sounds like technology from 'Noise Cancelling' headphones commonly worn when riding in airplane. Definitely a good choice for travelling around the US. Looking forward to the release of the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited model (still nervous about supply chain issues possibly affecting the 2023 model year). Most of the time, leaving the seats in the 'Stow and Go' mode is the way to travel if only two people travelling. But overall, most people were enjoying the vehicle with minor issues or no issues at all. We always tend to hear the most extreme case that discourage us. Any way, I pulled the trigger and bought one. At this point (3500 miles) [and 2 extended road trips] I love this Pacifica. As for long term reliability, I have read where some folks were getting 2-3 hundred thousand miles on them. But I don’t believe the majority will get that. I get it. I did not want the 20 inch rims. I believe the S models also come with the family theater package which I really didn't want. Normally the S model in the year 23 is Around $4 Grand more than the limited. Also the S models in 23, from what I understand, only have the black interior, of which I wanted the white panels. I suppose a person could have ordered it from the factory to meet his/her specifications.

@@windsurfed1 The S is an option package that you can get with the limited. I think it is a $1,700 option. I'm not sure what he's talking about saving $5,000. Perhaps he's talking about the touring model which is not nearly as nice as the limited.

This review was super helpful, I think I’ll switch from traditional SUV to minivan with this model for my next purchase. So versatile especially for car camping. 🏕️
