I wish I had an instructor like you when I was learning all those years ago in England. It would have saved me hours and hours of struggling.

It’s not too late to have an instructor like me now! I coach all levels now. Contact details in the description if you are coming to Vassiliki .

❤ Thank you again for these wonderful videos ❤ I have plateaued at beginner status for a few years now but thanks to you and these videos, I am learning and having the time of my life, enjoying higher winds and not getting catapulted. I have kicked up the dagger board and playing around, especially in higher winds and intuitively feeling things out but never really understood the direct cause and effect of what I was doing. But this video did it for me. Similarly, there are a handful of others videos you made that I really love ❤️ like one on foot pressure or your disco gybe. You have built my confidence and i am enjoying windsurfing. From New York, Long Island. Thank you so much. 😊

I started windsurfing 6 weeks ago on a Beach Tahe Board 185 l with a 5m2 sail (Nova). I chosse this sail for my 80 kg weight. I live close to the beach in the north of Britany in France. It is a nice place to sailing but with a lot of streams and sometimes very windy. I try to windsurf 1 h each day. In light winds I train footwork, jibes, tacks, helitacks and beachstart. But I have problems to get to planning and to control the board. In strong winds (over 20 knts) the board doesnt accelerate and even in lighter winds 15-20 knts I have the impression that the board is too heavy and can't follow the wind and I have to work hard to hold the wishbone. Should I put back the mastfood? Or perhaps lower the wishbone? (normally it is shoulderhigh) but in strong gusts (from 20-25 knts) I feel overpowered and I cannot stabilize the sail. Do you have some trainingadvices how to handle strong wind on a big board?

Hi Cookie, any chance you are still going to be in Vassiliki in early October? Is there anything open in general at that time? I would be interested in a clinic and also in buying some equipment from there.
@Cookiesports11 ай бұрын
Drop me a message and I can let you know about equipment I have available for sale. We close on the 8th of October. Hope to see you here soon.

Do you expect some more wind soon ? There was 7 days in a row zero wind , I came all away down from Holland with my campervan to enjoy vassiliki. Seems like a waste of my Holliday 😢
@fonsvandenhove11 ай бұрын
Hi Daveknops9704, which route did you take to get there? My starting point is very much different from Holland, but still interested in the last 1000km. Sorry to read about the wind :/

Vassiliki is quite overrated. If you want good wind, head to Lemnos, Kos, Karpathos. Paros,Naxos.....

What @comet315 says.. if you are in a camper.. can't you leave and look for more winds.
