Another gusty day on the Pungo. Sailing the Mistral One Design with Neilpryde 7.8 meter RS One sail. Many short runs across the narrows of Pungo Creek south of Highway 99. Wind was gusty 10 - 25 mph. (Had to RE-upload my video on 8-5-24... Original did not upload in 4K)

@lurch1e That’s awesome. How long ago did you start windsurfing? These old raceboards have aged very well / they fill a glaring need that is missing in the sport today.

@@wlyounce375 I've been windsurfing for 40 years. I went out yesterday on my Equipe, they are great go anywhere boards. Last week I hit 27.2 knots with a 6.5M! I will have to remember to take out my camer next time...

A Formula racing board with a 70 cm fin points upwind exactly the same angle as a Mistral, but twice as fast.
