Windward Expansion: 2-Player Full Game

Looking forward to the expansion. Some rules items I caught: 15:23 - yellow has only 1 longboat speed and cannot move it the 2 spaces involved 16:12 - yellow does not complete the end at sky actions. Red Crester should have moved 3 toward him, should have discarded 1 card (no morale to lose), and should have gained 1 notoriety. 24:04 - yellow says this is his 1st speed, it is his second. He takes one more movement this turn than he should have been able to. 23:54- yellow should have rolled for a new gray Crester as soon as he defeated the one on the board. 28:15 - black leaves 2 gas tokens on the board. I think rules are that you removed them all from the board, discarding any that don’t fit on your ship. 29:20 - not a rules error per se, but very weird that you can ‘pre complete’ a contract. Feels like you should need to get a contract before you can do the things that let you complete it. 31:56- yellows third move here is directly against the wind and is therefore illegal. This was a big one because a Red Crester attack was very likely. 51:00 - can you not just spend the fuel cards while at port to bank 3 more speed for the round, giving your ship 7 speed for the round? Why do a random lap in the sky burning fuel?

Ah you’re right! Daniel here (yellow player). We’re working on a play through with 3 players and we’ll make sure one of us is focused on being rulemaster when the other two are focused on talking to the camera. :) my mistake!

El Dorado Games , sounds good. I’m normally not ‘that guy’ to point out tons of rule items, but since this will likely be a reference video people use from the KS campaign and elsewhere I wanted to note them to help others. Looking forward to a 3 player video!

How or why was Nick allowed to just pass over the White Crester drift tile at 26:35 without having to fight it?

I believe it’s because the white crester is on a different elevation. If the white crester was anywhere other than the 2nd elevation, attacking it with scouts and longboats is unrealistic to beating it.

Hi Eldorado Game:) Played one game of windward with my friends and we liked it, although the rulebook was not very clear. We used your gameplay video to understand some mechanics (I'll try to contribute sending some reviews and suggestions). This difficulty didn't stop us form enjoing the game, so compliments and thank you very much. 2 questions: (1) with the expansion will it be possibile to play 6 players at the same time? (2) the big box will be able to store the cards once put inside plastic sleeves?

I'm really interested in the project. I wanted to pick up the base game in store before backing but I'm in the UK and Barnes and Noble aren't doing global shipping due to Corona. If I do the all in Pledge is there a way for me to get the original game from you without waiting until September 2021?

Cody Dohm Raiders are affected by the wind when on the third level. scouts are not. :)
