While we love Colorado, we have grown to despise the spring winds! We're camped outside of Fort Collins, CO where we are relaxing with Barkley before we move spots and experience a late winter snow storm.

Even a windy day camping is better than not. It’s been raining here, but we are finally catching a break from the wet weather. I’ll be ranch camping this weekend in northeast Texas. A quiet, secluded place in the woods surrounded by cattle and wildlife. So ready to hear the hoot owls and coyotes late at night. Safe travels!

Another most excellent video! I continue to be impressed on well your videoing and editing has progressed over the past twoish years or so! A lot of RVers follow what is referred to as the 3-3-3 rule: travel no more than 3 hours - arrive by 3 - stay 3 days! This avoids burnout, you’re setup before dark and as you’re learning, allows you to enjoy more of what an area has to offer. Hopefully you see this little tip, not sure if you will since I’m posting this well after this video went up. Oh yeah, you should never be surprised to see snow in Colorado! I’ve seen snow in every month over the course of my 13 years I lived there. As always, stay safe out there…..

Also wintering site forBuffalo Bill Cody sites at . Ogallala river watershed. Guernsey st. Park has difficulties of Oregan Trail travel. I love traveling thru Sand Hills too of NE . My Dad grew up in Alliance a big train roundhouse site in the past. Car Henge near there. Agate st. Park. Mari Sandoz father Jules was a famous settler and there is a park there an hr east of Alliance. Also early settler writer SE NE Willa Cather on Prairie life.

I love your rig but I honestly cant wait to see if you get a bigger one some day. After having 2 30 pound tanks, I'll probably never go back. We started with an 850 pound popup truck camper and 5 truck campers later we now have a big mama Arctic Fox 1150. Its actually a little big but we've crossed over to the dark side of having all the "things". LOL Thanks for bring us with you!!!

How about mounting one of those big RV propane tanks under your truck and putting a quick disconnect on it for when you take the camper off? Then you could have a lot of propane and the tank you use now could be removed and give you more storage for something else.

I would NOT store a propane tank on a front hitch! If you rear end someone or crash front first for some reason, it won’t be pretty! I would set it inside the camper door a strap it down to something, so it doesn’t move, you can take it outside at your new camping spot. Or Move something from the back seat such as that water jug to make room for it, and put that on the front hitch.

You may want to look into an 11lb propane tank as an auxiliary tank. It wood be much more manageable then a 20lb since it is narrow and you could mount it onto the back of the camper. I recommend against putting a tank up front, as it would likely be an instant expansion in the event of an accident. The tank would have no where to go except to likely compress and explode if mounted on the back of the camper and if you happened to be rear ended, it would be pushed into the camper and less likely to have a catastrophic event. BTW, as far as an earlier comment that no one really cares. Well my wife and I still like your content of how you live your lives.
@LivingLargeCamping

That's my main concern with a tank up front as well. Haven't found the perfect solution yet, but the narrow tank is appealing. And thanks for the support, we just laugh those kinds of comments off. We're loving the lifestyle we live!
