That porch bit looks handy for cooking in the rain and wind. Me and Gina lived up the picnic area up the burn for months and I woke up one day in an 85mph hurricane with the front of the tend bowed in with me having to hold it by both sides while she was happily sleeping. The overhead pylons were howling 🤣👍💚💛❤️

Hey, this wild camp looked intense! ⛺💨 It's a bummer about the tent though, pitching can be tricky sometimes. Hopefully, you can figure out what went wrong! Glad you still had a good time and got some sleep despite the wind. That coffee from Lily sounds well-deserved! 😊

Hi, thanks for watching, I think i have worked out what was wrong. The footprint was caught on the attach ring underneath preventing the outer sheet from stretching properly. I am doing a review soon and going to re-pitch it so hoping that will sort it. Apart from that it is a fantastic tent.

Have you sorted out you tent yet? I know Twin Peaks Outdoors did a review on that tent. They mentioned about the outer touching the inner. Beautiful scenery 👌it reminded me of Otterburn training area. Take it easy atb Taff 🤠👊

Hi Taff, i think the issue was the added footprint stopping the tent from being taught at the rear. I am hopefully going to repitch it this weekend and check and do a more indepth review. I hope its sorted because apart from the rear issue its a great tent. Thanks for watching.

Try loosening the washing line inside the tent before tightening the bk tension straps, then re tighten the washing line , that should pull the inner off the rear of the tent .

cracking tent once you fine tune it🤔 i always said i would have the abisko 1 rather than akto (better features) a bit windy on windy 🥴

Hi Mate, Thanks it was more of a test of the new tent but i was well impressed with it. Going to get a few camps in then go back to a camp in the bivy as i really enjoyed them last year.
