Have you tried skateboarding without the straps and hopping the switch like they do it on the foilboard?

No I haven't but it would be worth trying, thanks. I'm hoping to try the wing on a normal skateboard at some point too, just need to find a decent location 🤔

Enjoy watching your beach fun. I have the skills(windsurfing, kite fly training on land, skateboarding), but just don't have the land. Maybe one day.

Thanks for watching! You'd enjoy it with that experience, and it would likely be a quick learning curve with those transferable skills. Hope you can get out on some sort of board somewhere, that's the main thing 🛹

I'm 177cm/5ft 9 and 66kg/146lb. I find my 4.6m naish wing works well for me on good sand with wind from 16 to about max 25 knots (18 to 29 mph).

@@intheoutside123 Thanks. Im a new subscriber. So, do you yourself need only one wing, or do you need more for different wind and/or terrain? A smaller wing for pea gravel or pavement?

Many thanks for subscribing! I can only board on a firm surface. Firm sand works well but anything soft is just not fun or completely impossible. Wind speed is the key factor for deciding wing size. I only used a 4.6m on the sand to start out and have really enjoyed it, though at times in lighter winds I could have done with something larger. However I've recently got hold of last seasons 6m naish - I'm hoping it will compliment the 4.6m but am yet to use it on the sand. Your size and local conditions will be key in deciding wing size, but generally anything around 5m is a good place to start. If there's a kite shop near your location it would definitely be worth getting their advice.
