Ah,this brings back memories. I was doing a summer internship during college, and remember playing in the early morning before heading to work as I had to finish the story! Ended up coming into work late a few times lol

This game came bundled with a sound card my family bought. Had no idea what it was. One install and a boot disk later, my mind was blown.

This game is priceless to me. It was my first grand game on a 386DX40 PC. And even after 30 years, I remind the story and dialogues. If I remember correctly it was 12 1,44 HD disks to install the game.

Funny thing in the books he started out as a good commander. "End Run" and "Fleet Action" I dont remember anything bad about him on the contrary. And then in "Heart of the Tiger" suddenly its sais "He is all bluster no substance" O_o

The wcdx patch would be amazing if it wouldn’t force nearest-neighbor filter which deforms the pixels.

In the end I prefer the DOS version of WC2. WCDX have just too many annoyances.

Just watched a few minutes, but why do the mass drivers have a weird sound and fire about 2x as fast as they're supposed to in the ferret?

Because this is the version for Windows 95.

Good work. You need a joystick man. I had the image of those fighters on the hud burned into my brains as a kid. What sound card was that emulating?

Thanks for the feedback. This is the remastered version from Kilrathi Saga release for Windows 95, so there is no sound card emulation here.
