Wing Commander 3 Losing Endgame 1/2

Strange. Whenever I have a no-win situation in real life, I always imagine this part of WCIII

@mmitchell86 Acutally at any part of the game if you screw up enough missions then you will start the endgame sequence to where this happens

I tried to win this impossible battle by switching on the invinsablility cheat but even when i destroyed the Kilrathi dreadnout, i still lost. it would have been awesome if there was a way to win the war at this point of the game.

Same. I spent forever shooting that thing trying to see if it was Killable and when it went boom and the infinite spawning corvettes came again I was just sad

@@invidofinp1828 Yup, beating the dreadnought should have been a "We held them off moment". But we don't know for how long, " kind of end".

Man, why can't they include a winning path in this no win situation. I destroyed a few capitol ships and a dreadnought. I still lost. WTH. We need Captain Kirk on this one. LOL It would have been awesome if they had a 3rd alternate ending where you win by destroying all the Cat ships and killed the prince in a all out one on one dogfight. HECK YEAH

How did you destroy a dreadnought? Saved all the missiles to punch through his heavy shields from behind?

@@VersusARCH You have to fly through the Dreadnought's hangar and shoot at it from the inside.

@@djargus really? Pretty sure I tried but failed... I had reduced its armor to nothing, destryed all the turrets... I am not sure I will have the motivation to check that again :)

@@enjibkk6850 throw invulnerability on and just grab a snack and drink and wait. It will go boom but then it's just infinite spawning corvettes and such.

@ScarFacedGangsta They only did that to the guy because he betrayed his people out of petty spite instead of having an honorable reason. Also, because he was a few grains of sand short of a litter box.

@cloreal Be careful what you wish for friend, I would join them but they would kill me in the end because they are an honorable people and will say how could my honor allow me to betray my people and kill me (this happened in the wing commander tv series when someone betrayed the humans to the kilrathi)

See, what humanity needed to do was find the planet of "Doggo" where the Good Bois and Galls are :). They'd help out. Theyhave experience dealing with cats, and for a few tennis balls they'd chase them right up a few trees. But oh well cat people don't think of these things :P

What a load of rubbish, this was not POS at all. I like all of the WIng Commander games especially The Heart of the Tiger.

The only way to win this POS game was to not play. WC2 was the best of the series, all downhill from there.
