Wing Commander 4: Mission 26 - Cinematics 1

After flight cinematics for mission 26 in Origin's Wing Commander 4 space combat simulator. There is a slight but noticeable desync between subtitles and audio. Keep your ears open for a 'Prophecy' from Admiral Tolywn towards the end of this video.

I also love how Tolwyn seems to be a subscriber to the doctrine of Babylon 5's Shadows... a little eerie that the enemy in WC Prophecy has so much in common with them.

In my childhood this game formed my ethical values - it was a really good input for my education ;-) I'm asking if todays computergames have any kind of moral... Thanks 4 uploading!

It's interesting to see in this thread how different people react to different particular quotes in the final cinematics. For me, ever since the games release the one hard-hitting response from blair was the bioweapon response: "Would you qualify the Gen-select Bioweapon as an effective tool...?". The cutscene following this shows the trial, with a soundtrack that even alone still gives me chills, since I relate it to the story and depiction of the use of Gen-Select on Telamon.

the payment for enduring "evil" is watching Malcolm McDowell give such a moving performance as the villan, he is always a villan(except Fantasy Island). I think video game movies are better than so-called- TV and "real" movies.

The good thing is when I played this game I was too young to realize that if you saw Malcolm McDowell you knew he was the bad guy so it was still a surprise

...now, I'm not a fan of Wing Commander (I just watch the clips for the actors), but does any fan really think that Freddy Prinze, Jr. and Matthew Lillard hold a candle to Mark Hamill and Malcolm McDowell? Because, well.... they didn't...

@timroycny1 Space Marshall, I believe, is Confed's equivalent of the modern navy's fleet admiral (5-star admiral).

The best villains are the ones that honestly believe they're right. Space Marshall Tolwyn is this type of villain. Acted perfectly by Malcolm McDowell.

I know it's a game and all, but I still think an English error or two should be brought to light. Tolwyn should've said "was" instead of "is" @6:52; Blair should've still addressed Tolwyn as Space Marshal just before Tolwyn compromised himself. Only owned IV, what's the Prophecy hint?

Nope, I always say tell them more except that one time i tried attack tolwyn to see if that was it. Only thing I can figure is they took it out of the playstation version. Oh well, i appreciate your help tho
