it's just that Robben and Salah are inverted wingers who always cut in, mitoma doesn't

Even though mitima also is an inverted winger in a sense. But it's about keeping the option of going the non-preferred side that enables these guys to dribble past the oponnent. Since the defender cannot commit to cover one side just because he knows that e.g. Salah or Robben tend to cut in a lot more often then going outside.

스페인 기본적인 용어 중에도 Fijar라는 개념이 있던데 이 부분과 비슷한 것 같습니다! 상대를 고정시킨다는 개념인데 상대쪽으로 드리블하며 이런 선택적 우위를 가지는 목적과 2c1 상황에서 상대를 고정시키고 옆에 넓은 공간을 확보한 우리 팀에 볼을 전달한다는 개념도 같이 존재하는 것 같더라구요

From my opinion, mitoma use to lock his ankle when dribbling to balance between speed between him and the ball, and to change the ball direction easily but also loose the ankle better when you want the ball to go far so that you can sprint escape from opponent

가속이 붙었을 때는 상대방을 향해서 가는 게 맞고 지공시에 윙어가 볼을 받았을 때는 풋살처럼 사이드 드리블로 끌어서 가면 양쪽 어디든 공략을 하기 쉽습니다. 풋살에서 사이드 드리블이 자주 나오는 이유는 축구처럼 역습이나 가속이 붙는 상황이 적어 그렇죠.

This video is nonsense. There is nothing wrong with dribbling to the sides of or 'at the defender'. What matters is the defender's positioning and body shape and how skillful the dribbler is at 1v1 skill moves, changing speed and direction to trick the defender. If you are dribbling towards the defender, yes they are going to move backwards until they feel they can win the ball or until they feel they must win the ball if within shooting distance (and the dribbler is shaping to shoot or cross etc).
