I love downwinding on a windfoil, but this looks even better.

I planned to post more "how to" videos but I was getting blown off the water (its been so windy) so I changed the script to some downwind action. More "how to wing foil" to come.

This is absolutely amazing! I want to visit and try. Oahu is fun too but I like sample Maui! Question: if you fall is it easy to get back up?
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29264 жыл бұрын
Thanks Joe. Oahu has some great spots. Kailua, the run from Hawaii Kai to Diamond head is a good downwind run. When its easier to travel you'll have to come over to Maui and do the Maliko run. At some point I want to come back to kailua wing foil. Getting up in rough water is harder but you will work up to it quickly.

Thank you for creating these winging videos - they are terrific! Can you share the model of the footstraps you have on this board? They look like it allows forward/aft movement while in the straps! Or if you made them could you share a video on how to do so?
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29264 жыл бұрын
They are a Fanatic brand bootstraps. Long strap and I mounted them in a wider position for the purpose that allows forward/aft movement

Great video! Looks so fun! When is the wind best/ most consistent for this on the North side of Maui? Thanks
@alancadizwingfoilinginstru29264 жыл бұрын
Spring summer and fall are the most consistently windy months but we can have good wind year around. However winter months bring us very large Northwest surf.

Alan Cadiz Thanks Alan I am just reaching the skill level that I could do this, after a lot of sessions last summer and this summer. I messaged you earlier about doing a lesson with you. I would love to pay you to guide me on one of these sessions. I live in Duluth MN on Lake Superior. Is there a way to email you directly to discuss this? I can send you some of my Sessions that are recorded on Strava , and I have just recently been recording some GoPro footage. Thanks again Rhett
