After going through the trouble of arranging for a gull wing to raise those engines away from the water spray, it was rather silly to place the water overflow from the water tanks in line or just ahead of the propellors. Those propellors will not last long as they may look like little drops but water spray is not harmless. In a steam turbine in powerstation they use superheated steam as wet steam will ruin the turbine blades, and the same will happen tothe leading edges of those props.
